The property is run down. Towels were really bad. Worst hotel i have stayed in my life.

I arrived on the weekend of a huge Hastings event which I was unaware of before making my booking . Peter , emailed me to inform me and also rang me to ensure that I was aware of the parking situation as well as giving me some information about the event . Thanks Peter for your courtesy and excellent communication. If you’re looking for a spotless room in a a great location for the quiet part of the seafront and aren’t bothered about unnecessary frills then you will be happy . Perfectly functional .

Room was a little musty but sorted by opening the window every day. Couldn't have it open at night due to the traffic & the high winds! Comfy beds though, so we slept well. Bathroom was fairly new but the hotel does need some updating.

Booked at last minute for a very reasonable price and there were some mixed reviews online so wasn't sure what to expect. I spoke to the owner on the phone to confirm my booking the day before and he turned out to be quite the character! The hotel itself is an old building and has a very dated style of décor, but there isn't actually anything wrong with this, it's obviously the style of the owner. Everything was quite antiquated in fact as I had to sign a guest book and got a hand written receipt. I had booked a family en-suite room and it was spotlessly clean and fairly comfortable, although the mattress was far too hard for my liking. The only thing wrong with the room was the absolutely ancient 4:3 ratio TV that made everything we watched look like it was being played back from a very worn VHS video. They really should replace it. There was Wi-Fi though, which was kind of unexpected. There was plenty of street parking (max 2 hours 8am-6pm) and one disabled spot right outside, which was always being used, so you do have to keep moving your car if you are hanging around. Wasn't a problem for us as we were visiting different places. Overall the hotel is quite dated, but it's good value and very clean, so I would definitely stay there again.

Interesting place, owner bit of a character but felt that £150 for one night was a lot of money fir this hotel . No dining facilities and no bar. Very old hotel and could do with a bit of modernisation

Very rude. Horrible smell throughout and extremely dated. Not enough towels provided. Very uncomfortable couldn’t wait to leave.

A stay you would love if you like the piece it was very retro. It sadly needs updating but if you like the 60s or 70s you will really like it here. It's a lovely time lock tucked away
