"The buck's from so'ton."

What we liked was the location not to far from the town and seafront ,everything was in a short walking distance. Public transport was frequently and very cheap to any destination within reason to torquay so plenty of scope to explore Devon itself.

There was nothing to dislike.

"Best hotel stay ever"

Perfect hotel, hot water, to worked, WiFi nice and clear, breakfast was gorgeous. Lovely quiet room, really central. Paul and Ray who run it are lovely people. I’m definitely going back.

The best holiday I’ve ever had. Lovely hotel, gorgeous breakfasts, lovely room with working to, wifi hot water just 100 out of 10. Paula and Ray are so lovely and friendly. The hotel in bang centre to most places.

"Great service and wonderful welcome"

This was the first time in years that I had been to a cosy guest house, The Grosvenor, in Torquay as I normally stay in bigger hotels out of habit rather than for any other reason. I was therefore amazed at what a wonderful welcome I received with also such useful attention to detail from Paula and Ray. I feel that the personal touch from these owners is very special as their dedication to helping the guests shone through. It felt like home from home! The staff I came across were also welcoming and helpful. My room was tastefully decorated and had everything I needed. The establishment is handy for the town and is on two bus routes if you don’t want to walk down to the seafront. The buses go to the town and harbour as well as places like Teignmouth. Paula produces amazing copious breakfasts and is a mine of information about Torquay attractions. I would definitely return to stay there!
