The Saracens Head Hotel

歩いてスーパーマーケットに行けたのが良かったです。 １階がスポーツバーでチェックインした時間がちょうど観戦の時間帯だったので、少し心配しましたが、夜には試合も終わり、静かに過ごせました。 扇風機もあり、窓からは風が入って、とても涼しかったです。 大きな窓が２つある部屋でしたので、街並みを眺めたりして、街の雰囲気を感じることができました。

駐車場が専用の無料だと思っていたのですが、宿泊先の前の路上でした。 日曜日に宿泊したので、曜日的に無料でしたが、平日は午前１０時から午後６時まで１時間という制限がありました。 もし、平日に宿泊したら、どうなっていたのかと少し疑問に思いました。

The period property is a wonderful change from the chain hotels. The bedroom was spotless and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was very good with fresh cooked food to order. The two ladies who worked the breakfast room were excellent.

The heat in the bedroom was unbearable. No air coming in through the one small window that would open and a tiny, loud fan that made no real difference. No food is available at the start of the week, but there are good places to eat in the village and a local shop to get a drink for over night.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at The Saracens Head..Great location right in centre of town..Excellent food and friendly service

Sad that there was no bar open on Saturday night to bring my friends to after the concert.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful, and it was right where I needed it to be.
