Borthalan Hotel

We had an absolutely comfortable and relaxing stay. The area was accessible and had parking. It was close to the train station to St. Ives and further down the hill is Carbis bay beach. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. The owners are really friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back and stay!

Really loved our stay. The property is so convenient to St Ives via train and coastal walk. Also less than 5 minutes from Carbis Bay beach. Also Martin and Margaret are so welcoming and friendly. And also full of advise of places to go etc. Really recommend. Dont hesitate booking.

Guesthouse was lovely, well hosted by Martin and Margaret. Warm welcome upon arrival and nice farewell on departure too which gives the stay the overall personal feel. We were given the room on top floor with excellent sea view room was lovely too every last touch added to make it homely. Close to St Ives harbour we got the train in and left our car at the guesthouse which was a really good idea, suggested by Martin. Carbis bay station was a 5 minute walk and trains run every 30 minutes! Breakfast in the morning was lovely too we filled in the breakfast form the night before and was served that in the morning. Overall lovely stay will be going back, definitely recommend it.

Amazing see view, which really made our stay and the owner was really lovely. Room was really poorly decorated for the price we paid.

The place is amazing, view from windows to the sea is fantastic, lovely personal touches. Very clean just an awesome place. Would recommend to all! Breakfast was very delicious !

Great B&B. Lovely room, clean, large and great bathroom. The couple running it are very helpful and friendly. Great location near train station for easy access into St Ives. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Love the location. Love Carbis Bay. Margaret and Martin were excellent hosts and went out of their way to help if we needed anything. Including finding a dinner reservation for us when we had given up. Lovely breakfast and service.

We had a lovely stay at the Borthalan Hotel. Margaret and Martin were wonderful hosts who made us feel at home. They were extremely helpful and cooked a great breakfast each morning with lots of options to chose from. The view of carbis bay was beautiful and our room was perfect - with a very large shower and en suite! Would absolutely recommend
