Excellent location and sea view. Close to station and beach, I could hear the owls and the sea as i fell asleep

Owners were very friendly. Had to use a cup to fill the kettle as it wouldnt fit under the tap and situation of plugs in the room were not easily accessible

Really friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help us. Great breakfast. Quite a small bedroom and Ensuite but amazing views.

The photo shows the establishment as in spacious grounds whereas it is in such a built up area that it was hard to find. The room was the smallest I have ever encountered measuring perhaps 11 ft x 11ft with the ensuite included in this size. The en-suite was very tiny. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

It is obvious from the moment Martin and Margaret greet you that they are passionate about the hotel, and it shows throughout. The rooms are newly decorated and cared for. The breakfast was amazing with a good selection. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend the hotel. Many thanks

We can not fault Borthalan Hotel an the slightest. Everything was perfect.

Excellent hotel and close to the beach. Not within walking distance to the town centre but good access with a train station located nearby. Clean hotel and good breakfast.
