The Denes Guest House

We just had a few nights here but Chris and Lesley were very welcoming and gave us lots of information on the best walks and how to get to them. We had a very comfortable room albeit up two flights of stairs. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent 👌👍

A bit tough getting up the stairs with a heavy bag but it was worth it, once settled in 😊

The owners made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked. The owners new everything about the place and told us which were the best walks, places and restaurants to visit. I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in Lynton go to The Denes.

Fantastic hosts for the warm welcome and delicious breakfast and nothing was too much trouble.

There was nothing we did not like but the bed was too hard for our personal liking.

The hosts made me feel truly welcome. They provide personalised breakfast choices with an order form the night before. They help with planning they day in Lynton, advising on walks and beauty spots with the helpf of information sheets. They show genuine interest in their guests.

I was welcomed with warm smiles when I checked in. There is off-road parking at the back, which gave me peace of mind. Each room has a different theme and is decorated accordingly. It is quiet at night and it is nice and clean. The breakfast is well prepared, not greasy at all, and very tasty.

There wasn't something to complain about at all of what I experienced.

The hosts are warm, engaging, and make sure you're cared for. It's a very homey (without being overbearing) bed and breakfast and my only regret is not staying longer. The location is perfection and Chris made sure to point my sister and I in the right direction for walks with the most incredible views we had ever seen. The breakfasts were the best we had in our entire UK trip.

Well appointed with great attention to detail. Room was spacious, airy, clean, comfortable, quiet and homely. The food was delicious and plentiful. The dining room was charming and a delight space to sit and have breakfast. The owners Chris and Leslie were wonderfully helpful and welcoming hosts. They have a lot of information available and are keen to share their knowledge of the area.

Friendly, helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast and a real home from home. We would certainly stay again and have no hesitation in recommending The Denes Guest House to others.
