Pelham Court Hotel

We had a wonderful time at Pelham Hotel. Our suit was spotless andcomfotable, small balcony was a very nice surprise. Courtyard is gorgeous. Staff is very helpful and nice. The hotel is in walkable distance to pretty much anything, and a very short drive to mansions and cliff walk. At the same time its on a very quiet old street. Definitely would recommend this place

The Pelham Court was wonderful. The staff were always contacting us to ask if we needed anything. It was closed to all we wanted to do. Very central. By far the best hotel we have ever stayed

The Pelham Court Hotel is from now on our home away from home in Newport. It's absolutely wonderful - if I could rate it 10 stars I would. The location can't be beat, the staff were excellent and helpful, and the suite itself was amazing. We have stayed at other hotels that offered suites but none were like this! A full compartmentalized kitchen, toasty fireplace, well-appointed living area and spacious bedroom made us feel as though we were in our own cozy apartment. The bathroom was huge (two sinks!), there was a pleasant fountain in the courtyard area, and parking was a breeze. Add to that the reasonable rates and the fact that the hotel is literally steps away from the downtown area? I rarely am overly impressed by where we stay but the Pelham Court Hotel wowed me. It will forever be our go-to spot in Newport. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a reasonably nice stay at this Newport property. It's very busy and popular because it is close to downtown, so be sure to reserve way ahead if you want to stay here. The staff is great and very accommodating and thoughtful to check in and see if you need anything before they go off duty for the evening. This was much appreciated and it is done by text so is not intrusive at all. We had a nice one bedroom suite, but unfortunately got the one without a fireplace, which would have been nice on a cold, rainy afternoon for ambience (the heat otherwise was fine). Only complaint about the furnishings would be the uncomfortable breakfast bar chairs. We ate out most of the time even though the kitchen was ample. The seating was not. We tried to use the space to work at a computer and it was very difficult. A shorter table would have been nicer to have. Some rooms on the website show a couch and a chair, but this one had only a couch. Lastly, expect the parking to be crowded and the spaces small. As a handicapped person, it was very challenging to navigate my walker around the car. All in all though, we would recommend this lodging especially for the convenience of its location.

The Pelham Court is a wonderful hotel in the heart of downtown Newport. Everything was fabulous, from the communication from the staff; contactless check-in, location; and amenities. The one bedroom suite was very well appointed, spacious, and very comfortable. Having a well appointed kitchen and fireplace made it feel more like a home away from home than other hotels or Airbnb that I have stayed in.
