Pelham Court Hotel

This place is centrally located and we were so happy with our stay we will go back ! We were able to walk everywhere. The staff was spot ON... though we never met anyone we were always informed via text about our stay and asked about our needs ! More coffee pods appeared minutes after asking. Bed was extremely comfortable as was the other furniture. TV proved a bit of a challenge but we figured it out, I think, though we never did see cable option in bedroom but that may have been our problem not sure.... Overall was a great spot and we will happily return !

We have been going to Newport for many years for all different occasions from boat shows to Xmas tree lighting to just weekend getaways for shopping and dinners. Once we found Pelham Court after trying other hotels we will not stay at any other place. Fabulous location just steps away from all the action of Newport and provides off street parking once u park your car good chance u won’t have to move it again. The accommodations have a variety which can be from studio , 1 bedrooms , 2bedrooms and even a 3 bedroom suites we stayed in all adjusting to the amount of people we are traveling with. Each stay in all units They all have like apartment like feeling which is a welcomed relief while staying for more then 1 day. We actually plan all our trips around availability that we can and those special occasions we plan many months in advance to guarantee our stay. The GM and his staff are top natch and are always involved with making sure u have all needs met which is welcomed find and makes your trip do much better in all areas of your travel. To sum up this review of Pelham Court it’s the Gem of Newport and the only place to stay from it perfect location to its top natch staff. Spacious rooms, quiet, well maintained, clean, amazing location walkable to downtown stores and entertainment

Regular visitors to Newport, Had wanted to try this hotel because seemed like an upgrade over 2-3 places we typically stay. It was not. Regardless of where thermostat is, room was ungodly, suffocatingly hot in Mid-January. Wi-Fi did not work. Thus, smart tv's with only apps that work if you sign into the streaming services on your own account did not work because no wifi. Really no service. Hotel smelled like paint. Fireplace really not usable because already far too hot. Room to unit would open pop open even when locked if you pushed on it. Pretty subpar experience all around for a "nicer" option in Newport.

Staying at Pelham Court felt like staying in one of the Newport mansions compared to our tiny NYC apartment. Our suite on the second floor was so spacious, yet cozy and absolutely immaculate. The hotel is the perfect combination of modern comfort and convenience and historic Newport charm. The location couldn't be more convenient, as we were able to walk everywhere and the neighborhood is so charming decorated for Christmas. We very much appreciated the recommendation to take our pup to the park out back for walks. The fireplace and coffee and tea were especially nice touches in winter. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom felt luxorious with double sinks and L'Occitane shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion. We didn't want to leave!

Excellent hotel and service

Staff was great. Checking in often. I really appreciate the contactless check-in/out. I would prefer to stay in the upstairs room next time as our neighbours were loud in the mornings.
