Pelham Court Hotel

I stayed at this hotel recently and was pleasantly surprised. The location is exceptional-right in heart of Newport, and within walking distance to everything. It is a great hotel for families. The room I was in was a 1 Bedroom Suite. It was large and stocked with appliances basic amenities. There were some downsides to the room. First, the room I had was on the ground floor-street level, so with that comes vehicle noise and the occasional pedestrian peering into the window as they walk by. Also, the room was right across the narrow street from a night club, so you will here music and patrons at night. The furniture in the rooms appear old and dated, but comfortable. A major concern of mine was security: you need to manually push the lock button on the keypad lock when you leave the room or want to lock your door. One two occasions, I had other guests come in looking for the office. They also do not lock the door to the main hotel area even though they give you a code and there is a lock, this is concerning. All-in-all this is a definitely a place to stay in Newport that I will be at again. It has a great location, nice rooms, and is a great value.

We had the most wonderful time - the suite was exactly what we were hoping for, the staff was attentive and the location could not be beat. We will definitely be returning!!

We discovered at 11 pm that the toilet would not flush … used the trash barrel it fill the tank .. mentioned this the next morning as we were quick to check out. Received an “I’m sorry… thanks for staying with us “

Very nice unit, clean, centrally located directly across from the wharf area and within a mile of most Newport sites, accommodating staff. Would definitely stay here again. It took us awhile to figure out the coffee maker in the unit and we had no luck with the one in the lobby.

Great location if you want to be downtown and walking distance to the waterfront, shops and dining.

Great location. Attentive staff. Clean suite with nice amenities. Contactless service was responsive. Ability to park prior to check is a bonus to paying for parking on Thames street. If I had to pick any constructive feedback, it would be to replace the blinds in the bathroom and door to balcony. Look under the bed for wrappers/tags from prior guests. Vine around the outdoor stairs needs to be trimmed back away from stair treads. Lock missing on balcony door but there was no exterior access to balcony so it was still safe. Those are minor fixable cosmetic issues that won't prevent me from returning. It was a nice clean place overall in a great location with attentive staff.

I like that it was mostly quiet, staff was kind and friendly. It was kind of noisy nearby at night. Stairs were tough with luggage!

Very nice central location. Beautiful one bedroom apartment spacious and clean.

Check-in was easy. Very good communication. Walking distance to the marina. Great stay
