Perfect location, very friendly and polite staff. Free beer in the evenings, big rooms and comfortable enough

Excellent location and absolutely wonderful staff. They were very friendly and helpful.

We chose a tatami room for a traditional experience so this is more on us than the hotel. We found it didn’t suit our backs. We were happy we tried it but in the future we won’t do it again.

The public bath was a huge bonus I hadn’t quite counted on enjoying as much as I did. Perfect place to unwind after a day of walking. The welcome drink station was a nice sprinkle of hospitality.

Access to more pillows in the room (we should’ve asked)

Not really loud but a slight noise we heard during the night ( maybe from the boiler for the bath ?!?)

It is a big hotel, where the rooms are decorated like in a ryokan, so the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese ryokan was missing
