Americas Best Value Inn DeRidder

The property had BED BUGS! I woke up being eaten alive by them and had a severe allergic reaction that caused me to need medical attention. I requested a refund and was mocked and yelled at by the host. This property needs to be removed from the listing on Expedia! The hosts are rude and do not care at all about the guests. The rooms smell and are not at all clean!

Nothing worked in room and everything was broke seen roaches and just checked out

Hands down the worst hotel I've stayed at. Most of the lights in the room didn't work and the smoke detector batteries were low so it kept going off. Had to replace batteries and lightbulbs ourselves. Then the heat/air unit didn't work at all. 10/10 don't recommend.

When I got there no power in the room took them 3 hours to get it on ,then the shower doesn't work and on top of that no tv all week

First room had TV issue, mgmt quickly changed rooms. It's not a big city Hilton, but it is the third place I have stayed in the Deridder-Leesville area and the best. The location is not what the online description indicates but the landscaping makes you forget you're in town. One detail I really appreciated was the high visibility when trying to pull out of the hotel.

The room was comfortable the wi fi was horrible when asked why the really couldn't tell you said it was out of range for the room i was in that the wi fi was better in the middle to front

Made a reservation through expedia and selected to pay when checking in. The hotel did not want to honor my expedia price so we only stayed one night at full price and stayed elsewhere.

Besides the smelly rooms it’s a fair property to stay at for the money. I paid $110 for 2 nights. However, when I came back from my exhibition I was locked out of my own room. My clothes were thrown away and a vape missing. Don’t forget my checkout was the following day. I had Forgot to put “ Don’t Disturb” sign out side the door but soon realized there wasn’t any. They told me the room service didn’t bring anything to submit in the lost and found box. I just couldn’t do anything about $50 I had in my stuff they threw away.

Check in was very difficult, room wasn’t ready and staff couldn’t be bothered to care

First the reservation we made through Expedia didn’t go to them because they don’t use a the computer , so make sure you call them for your reservation if you have no choice to stay here. The room was a double bed and was absolutely filthy from roof to floor. Only reason we stayed was because everyone else was booked that night & we brought our own cleaning supplies. Mold in several locations in the bathroom and a disgusting smell in the room. If you stay here make sure you bring your own bed sheets and if you don’t have them there’s plenty of stores around to buy them nearby. Skip this place and go for the comfort inn down the street!
