Perfect food and good atmosphere

We have absolutely loved our stay at Landmar so far. It has been an excellent holiday, with fantastic service, entertainment, and food throughout. A special mention must go to Sofia, Atte and Laura, who have all been outstanding. Laura, Sofia and Atte have run the Mini Club most days during our stay and have made our son feel welcome and included from the very beginning. The effort they put into encouraging the children is wonderful, and receiving a badge and certificate gave our son so much confidence and made him excited to return each day. Laura and Sofia bring so much energy and enthusiasm to the activities, while Atte has a natural talent for working with children and immediately put our son at ease. It is clear that all three genuinely care about creating the best possible experience for the children. We also loved the pizza-making activity hosted by Ivan, Laura, and Sofia, which was a real highlight for our son. The entertainment programme has been exceptional, with something happening every day and evening. During our stay (so far) we have enjoyed a pool party, foam party, circus and funfair evening, White Party, Landi experience, mini discos, and Mini Club activities. The team work incredibly hard and their enthusiasm makes a real difference to the guest experience. The food has also been excellent. We have particularly enjoyed the different themed cuisines available each evening, which provided plenty of variety throughout our stay. It has been lovely to try different styles of food without ever feeling repetitive. A special mention to the chefs and waiting staff, they deal with every situation with speed and ensure everything is regularly topped up. One of our favourite parts of the holiday has been sitting on the terrace in the evenings enjoying dinner while listening to live music. The saxophonist on Italian night was fantastic, and we also loved the authentic Tenerife band that performed on another evening. These touches have made the atmosphere feel really special. Thank you to the entire Landmar team for making this such a memorable family holiday. We would highly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to the rest of our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay, the hotel is amazing and full of facilities. We had so much fun during the games with animation team, especially with Sofia, Laura, Ivan and Himmi :D

First of all, please look at all the reviews, there are some negative but the majority are positive, as is this one. TLDR - Great family holiday, definitely recommend for families! Now the long version. Firstly, checking in was a breeze. Really polite reception staff and due to us getting there late ( 8.45pm ), the staff asked to the fill in some brief details so we could catch the evening buffet which closed at 9.30pm. We returned after eating to do the full check in. It's 10 euro for use of the room safe ( non refundable) and 10 euro for each towel card. ( Refundable, but keep the receipt as proof ) We were housed in the A block which was perfect. Huge room with a view of the sea and the quieter side of the complex. We visited Bones Restaurant whilst staying at Los Gigantas Hotel. Hairdryer, good AC and a fridge. Just like other hotels in Tenerife, they wanted us to use reusable bottles for water. You only get one in your room, so I would bring one with you. Good buffet selection each morning, dinner and evening. Even our daughter managed to find something to eat every time. The buffet restaurant was themed each night, our favourite was the Mexican followed closely by the Oriental. If you like your seafood, the Spanish night is the one for you. During the stay you can use one of the alacart, these being Bones or Ciao, Grill or Italian. We went for Bones but the staff were happy for our daughter to order the Spaghetti Bolognese from the Italian side, whilst we had Steak and Ribs. The staff were great and really accommodating. There are four bars in the complex, one at each pool, one in the Broadway Room and the main bar on the ground floor. There is also the Landi Van, which serves drinks but we never saw this open. Pour your own drinks ( wine, beer or Sangria ) with spirits and cocktails being made by the staff at the main bar. I found the drinks really good, however the wife would have liked more choice of spirits and mixers. However the measures are big. There were some queues for drinks sometimes. There are three pools in the complex, the one with the big slide was under construction, so it was closed off. We mainly used the pool outside our apartment block. This pool was much quieter for chilling out and it had the Nautilus Bar attached. This did BBQ, Pizza and loads of other bits to snack on. The other pool was bigger and had the activities throughout the day. It was much busier. We didn't do many of the activities, although our daughter loved the Splash Park and tried the Landi Kids Club, but didn't really like it. Ours is 7 yrs old and she found it too young for her. Our daughter wanted to do the Rope Climbing Course but wasn't allowed as she didn't have any trainers. We had crocs and other footwear, but the staff insisted on a proper set of trainers, so bear this in mind if you or your kids want to have a go. There's a teenagers only play area which has games consoles and other entertainment but they were really strict and our daughter couldn't get in. There was also the movie theatre that we never saw open or used. There were kids discos and entertainment each night. The Queen tribute and the Kenian Boys acts were brilliant. They have a carnival night each Saturday which was good, with bouncy castles, face paints, popcorn and balloon animals. The popcorn you had to pay for, the balloons and face painting, they asked for a tip. Theres a shop on the complex which was reasonably priced, unless you wanted suncream. That was fairly expensive. If you come out of the hotel and walk for ten minutes up the road you hit a very well known supermarket where things are much cheaper. I would suggest making the trip. Lastly, the staff at the hotel were hard working, friendly and professional. There's always cleaning or repair work going on. This is around the pools, apartments, the bars and restaurants. The staff behind the bars work really hard, with not many tips going into the jars. The cleaners for the room were always happy to speak to you in the morning. All in all we loved our trip to Landmar Los Gigantas. We'd definitely come again.

Good selection of food, always fresh. Pools were great and the kids loved the football pitch and the high ropes. Entertainment was also a good mixture and of good quality.

The water slide shown in the pictures on booking.com has been taken away and that pool was being renovated. That was one of the big reasons we chose the hotel, so was a bit disappointing for the kids.

Just returned from a week with our 3 children aged 10, 8, 6. Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. Check in was easy and we were taken by golf buggy to our room. The room was a landi village apartment. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. The gifts for kids were well received. There was never any noise at night from our location in B block and it was only a couple mins walk from the central resort. Despite it being half term, pools were never overcrowded and were good temperature. Lots of sun loungers available every day. Having the choice of 2 big pools was great and the snack bar with bbq at the smaller pool was fantastic. The food was very impressive. There was a different theme cuisine every night and lots of choice. I was really impressed with the quality and choice. The landi exclusive area was fantastic. The freshly made crepes and smoothie were delicious and the espresso machine in that area was great. Credit to all the staff. Laura who ran the kids club made my daughters week. At the end of our stay Laura presented her with a certificate declaring her ‘Landi’s best friend’ and it made her week! I can’t express how good the kids club was. They activities were brilliant and well thought out and safety was taken seriously. The cinema was a perfect touch to give them some time out of the sun and the pirate day was amazing! The waiting and cleaning staff were brilliant too, all so friendly and professional. I was impressed with just how many cleaning staff you would see in the morning, refreshing the whole resort each day. The location was ideal for us, a nice quiet area perfect for families. There is just so much to do here we feel Like we only managed about half of it; and never made it off site to Siam park etc! It’s the perfect resort to both relax and be active. The water circuit in the spa, which was also included as part of the landi upgrade was fantastic. On our last day our 8 year old daughter was in floods of tears at having to leave and we re booked right away!

The service in the hotel is really bad. We had 3 issues during the stay. First of all we booked a specific room to be in a quiet part and have nice, wide view. But during check-in they said they cannot allocate us in the chosen room. Of course such things happen but in this case they should offer us even better room or something as a compensation while we get a worse room with limited view and they even didn't apologize. Second thing, they told that car parking will be unavailable from Sunday (3rd day of our stay). And we had to spend 10-15 minutes each day to find a parking place in the neighbourhood area. If we knew before that parking for guest will not be available, we would choose another hotel as this is pretty important to be able to go somewhere and comfortable park the car near the hotel after daily trips . Again, lack of proper communication from the hotel. Third thing, they also didn't communicate that the water slide is closed what was important for our kid. What the offer instead is even not worth trying. Also we noticed a lot of cockroaches in the evenings, not ideal but ok, it happens in this climate. Cannot fault the hotel. But why the hotel didn't tidy dead cockroach on the ccrridor for two days (block E), I really don't know.... Also the organization in the dining area is terrible, sides (potatoes, vegetables) are in the same area where the meats what causes long queues. In other hotels it's much better organized and noone has to wait 5-10 minutes in a queue to grab something to eat. To sum up, hotel needs a lot of attention from the management as there are a lot things to improve, we definitely won't come back to the hotel with such a bad service.

We had a ball at this hotel! 8days and plenty to do/keep our 2yr & 5yr old entertained. Lots of fresh cooked food (burger/paellas) at the Nauticus pool restaurant everyday. Fresh meats/fish at the buffet restaurant. Ciao was Devine! And bones was lovely too! Lots of lovely touches with a landi room- crepes/fresh salmon/kippers/caviar/smoothie at breakfast. Pools were a nice temp with baby pool warmer. Had a lovely time here & would recommend

We had a great stay at Landmar. Large and spacious rooms, clean. Lovely food with lots of atractions (mini golf, gaming, table tenis). Recommended for children 🙌
