"Good value for a good bed and excellent breakfast."

Convenient to the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bedding. Room/bathroom was quite small. Wifi worked well. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Convenient onsite parking (free) but not many spaces. Otherwise, need to use public pay parking lot (discounted). Good value.

"Very Nice Hotel - Super Convenient Location"

Very nice place located directly in front of the main train station and maybe 10 minutes into the city center by foot. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that even in the middle of November, the room was very hot, yet all the heaters were off, so there was no way of dealing with the temperature other than opening the window.

"Well located hotel"

We only stayed here a night but found this a good, clean and comfortable place to stay, especially as its so close to the railway station. Its within walking distance of everything you might want to see too.

"Glad we choose this hotel."

All good apart from being caught in a heatwave with no air conditioning but Villach might only have one heatwave per year so not complaining about hotel. Hotel reception person was very nice. A great hotel close to station and everything you need like bike hire and supermarket. Magnificent breakfast and nice kitchen staff.

"Good for stopover but NOT recommended for long sta"

Generally it was alright as I only stayed for one night. However, the central air-conditioning cannot be customized and adjusted. I stayed there during the Summer and it was really hot in the room. I didn't have a good rest. However, it is just opposite the train station, so it is very convenient for train travelers like me. There is also a supermarket right next to it, which is very convenient to purchase daily necessities.

"Comfort and Covenience"

Hotel City Villach is perfect for train travellers like me. It's opposite the station and easy walking distance to town centre. A comfortable bed, English speaking staff and a generous breakfast buffet made it a very nice two day stay. The room and bathroom were a little on the small side, but who cares? I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
