The reception staff were friendly— especially so with Anastasia. The rooms are clean.

Some rooms still needed going through stairs on the same floor to access. Luckily, the receptionist managed to give us rooms with no stairs. The coffee machine at the restaurant produces some of the worst tasting coffees. I’ve been to the Glasgow Apex and that, surprisingly, has the best coffee machine I ever tried. Apex Waterloo needs to buy the same machine! .

Locatie, ontbijt, personeel ontbijt

De ontvangst voor check-in door de receptionist was mager. De dame verteld in een hoog tempo een standaardverhaal dat heel snel werd verteld en vinkje bij het kruisje. 1 van de liften deed het niet waardoor het vaak lang wachten was voor er een lift was. Het trappenhuis is geen visitekaartje voor het hotel.

Waterloo Place Hotel is amazing! Not only for its location, food and other outstanding amenities; also their dedicated employees. My wife and I arrived very late at night due to a bit of a crisis created by airport negligence and a resulting serious medical condition for my wife. To say the hotel personnel responded above and beyond would be an understatement. Before, during and after we made arrangements to travel back home, they were there to assist us any way possible. Sometimes strangers are the best people you will ever meet.
