Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Staten Island

The handle in the elevator is hanging on by a thread as well as the shower curtain pipe hanging and is going to fall off the wall. Room is laughably small. In general I would just say for $138, it certainly was not worth that!! Breakfast was an oatmeal packet and styro-bowl, or a yogurt and fruit. Corporate needs to send a mystery person to go there and see for themselves how atrocious this place is, and consider tearing down their brand off the building. We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express' and have been VERY satisfied. Which is why we chose them in the first place. However we are now forewarned to ask to see the rooms and amenities before we commit. We were in NY to bury my Moms ashes with Dad, and did not need this aggravation. We do NOT recommend this particular Holiday Inn Express.

Run down hotel. Not well maintained. Limited parking.

Room was nice and new. Clean. Staff was friendly. Area is run down, though. Parking lot was like the lunar surface.

My boyfriend and I were physically assaulted in the elevator of the hotel. We left the hotel in a ambulance. The manager has not contacted us at all after the incident. There is suppose to be security in lobby and there was none. Hotel manager will not contact us after incident. General manager was contacted multiple times and was told by front desk staff that I will no be recieving a refunded. Now finding out area is getting terrible. Do not stay here.

Rooms and hallway smelled like mold. Bathroom smelled like urine. Rooms very small. Outside smelled like garbage. There was no breakfast. They had a brown doggie bag in morning with oatmeal pouch , granola bar, little orange juice.

Refrigerator had dirty used food container inside and no TV remote

Works were all very nice and helpful room was super small though couldnt even pull chair out to work as desk because it hit the bed.

Had to wait for around 20 mins for checking in. Only one customer service agent handling all check ins and other things. Room key had problems. Hotels.com description reads free breakfast but all that was given on name of breakfast was instant oats packet and yogurt. Not even a dissent coffee. Would rate this hotel max 5/10.
