The room was fine, and clean The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was extra, but extensive

My only question is why have the air conditioning set to 19 in the room, which was freezing on a boiling day, or was it to address the fact that the duvet, was (much) too warm for a summer duvet? We turned down the air conditioning, and addressed the Winter duvet without an issue.

"The stay was good with an excellent location but it could have been better."

Close to the City centre

Balcony was dirty and unkempt. Could not open the door to it as the extractor fans from the kitchens were right next to it.

"Peaceful luxury in the heart of York"

A great choice close to the station in a nice area of York. Beautiful venue, helpful staff. Lovely aircon during the heatwave! Very well priced during my stay, was tempted by the upgrade however my room was already lovely.

I liked everything!
