"Lovely old Inn with great food"

Firstly, I must complement Ted, one of your bar staff. He checked us in and upon our request changed our room to a garden view. He was extremely attentive to our needs during our stay. Friendly, competent and just wonderful to interact with. The Hand is in a beautiful location and we enjoyed our two nights there. Had dinner in the restaurant in the first night and at the bar the second. Really enjoyed the food on both nights. Cooked breakfasts were good.

Our bed was a bit lumpy to be honest and that made our two nights sleep a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast duffer was a bit disappointing if you didn’t fancy a cooked breakfasts were, however having said that, the cooked breakfast was lovely and very quick.

The staff were all so so friendly, lovely cheery atmosphere! the location was fab and secluded. Breakfast was lovely and good quality produce. Room was lovely and warm on arrival. Clean and had everything you needed. Hot tub and steam room were clean and ready to use!

Not the hotels fault but the rude awakening by some man naked at 3am 😂

The location, end of a beautiful valley with plenty of walks nearby.

"Great place, food and memories. So much history at the Inn."

Location fantastic. Breakfasts were superb. We tried 3 different hot breakfasts and all were delicious. Do not miss this.
