Payment Information: Please note that the Charterhouse does not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. The swimming pool is open from 31 May - 31 August weather permitting. Check-In Information: The Charterhouse does not have 24-hour reception facilities, so please provide an estimated time of arrival when booking. Check-in is usually before 18:00. No arrivals after 22:00 are accepted. Please note that the hotel does not accept cats. Pets can only be accommodated in the Small Double Room with Patio and Large Family Room (2 adults + 2 children) with Garden View, and cannot enter the main house. Please inform the property prior to arrival if your are traveling with a pet. Please note that guests who book 'room with breakfast' rates can choose from a variety of breakfast options including Continental, Full English and Vegetarian.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. "Exceptional"

Host were amazing, the breakfast was always hot and prosented very well. Room was very clean and nothing was to much if you needed anything. An amazing place to stay , minutes away from beach , would recommend to anyone to visit

"Hidden gem home from home"

We were made very welcome by Lisa and Christophe nothing was any trouble The room was spotless and such a hidden gem in a beautiful setting with the gardens The breakfasts were lovely and my partner loved his kippers We had the best time big thank you to you both and hope to come back

"Excellent place to stay for a trip to Torbay"

The near Cockington location was great for us. Lounge, terrace, and gardens made for a relaxed stay. Room was clean and comfortable.

We were working and breakfast was a little late, but we were offered a breakfast tray, which was a lovely thought, and much appreciated.

The place is beautiful. 5 min walk and you are by the sea front. Perfect location. Lisa and Christophe where a wonderful host. Made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!
