Cebu Parklane International Hotel

It was very welcoming.

The staff at Parklane were very friendly. They suggested various sightseeing tours and arranged taxis for us. The hotel is located very close the Ayala Mall. The wifi was a little spotty at times.

Excellent food. Buffet selection was really good. Water could be hotter, is just warm. But I considered it to be the only negative and a very minor one at that.

Room not clean and hotel is run down.

The biggest reason to come here is the fantastic staff This hotel has been our “home” in Cebu. It started a long time ago when my son was very young. The staff has seen him grow up. The rooms are nice, of course I prefer without these stuped bathtubs. Go for the standard rooms. No need for any deposit for your stay. Fine! Easy to check in and out. They have a good Gym. The pool is just ok. The breakfast is ok. Standard quality. However the breakfast was a little bit better before the covid period. Then we could get more fruits like mangoes. And the “container” juice was much better. Then they had “orange juice” and “Four seasons” (of course not fresh, but anyway nice). Now it was just dreadful colored nonsens. The dinner buffet is ok. But it was a little bit better in the past (5 years ago) They had a roast beef carving station, better taste of the ice cream, crepes station … And better container juice! Sorry to say: the biggest reason to come here is the fantastic staff. At Manuels we have Bryant and Edelito! And Apple at Bean Date, the coffee shop. See you later! How to improve the quality? Just revert to the old style. And introduce organic salad. I asked all big hotels in Cebu and Shangri-La, Mactan (and Vikings) if they have organic salad and no MSG (glutamate) in the food. Just Bai hotel answered me: they do have some organic salad. All restaurants seem to use MSG. It's said that if there is no MSG (“vetsin”) in food, Filipinos will be unhappy. Is that really true? It's hard to get quality food in the Philippines! For sure! More easy to find in Thailand. Hilton (Pattaya): no MSG and they have organic salad ( yes - they also have organic tomatoes and such things). Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok: Organic salad. No MSG. This is absolutely the best place to get quality breakfast. They have a large variety of fruits - and fresh juice. Any kind. The price is very high however, perhaps around 3200 pesos! I love that breakfast! When you have eaten there all other places are just miserable, just more and less like school canteens!

No Hot water come out in the evening, One Elevator broken.

Love the chic rooms. Just the breakfast menu needs to be updated with more choices.

Couldn't get a hot shower, not cold, just room temp. Breakfast buffett poor, dinner buffet much better. Staff are excellent

High quality for one’s budget , very close to Ayala mall

Our go to place every time we are in Cebu City. Hotel is close to many options for shopping and dining. Staff is always amazing.
