Carriage Way Inn

This inn was amazing! Staff, decor, services and comfort were all incredible. Such a surprise and definite highlight of our trip

We loved the location and the charm of the inn itself. Our only real snag came from two issues; checking in after 5 pm was not clear and somewhat difficult. And, the noise from outside our room was very noticeable!

We had a great time visiting the town as he B&B was centrally located.

First impression: The entrance. Awful! See photos. Second impression: The blond woman in the kitchen who dropped the F bomb and continued to loudly complain to her coworker about another coworker who must have called in sick. Third impression: Room had way too many outdated bed pillows, making it feel more musty than “historical”. Fourth impression: porches were dirty, and it didn’t have to do with being in a beach town. Outdated dirty seat cushions, walls, welcome?carpet, rusted fan, etc. See photos. Fifth impression: Caramelized bread overly sweet and inedible (call crème brûlée), sausage, and fruit with old cut up cantaloupe with two grapes wasn’t fresh (had that translucent look of a old refrigerated fruit) Really doubt if there’s any actual prepping and cooking going on in that tiny kitchen…maybe just popping items in the oven to warm previously prepared food. No aromas or sounds of actual cooking going on in there. Several customers complained to us on their way to have breakfast elsewhere. Next day, we did the same. There were a couple of employees who appeared to take pride in their work. They included the housekeeper working quietly and diligently in each room, a young man with a topknot who understood customer service, and another woman who was much more professional than the kitchen help and was the first one to greet us upon our arrival. Overall, great location for a place that desperately needs hands on management that attends to service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.

The cottage we stayed in was extremely clean. The bed slept very good, and we were well-rested each morning. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We had a wonderful experience at Carriage Way B&B.

Characterful B&B in the heart of St Augustine.

It's a wonderful place with charming ✨, very pretty, but the most special thing is the people who served us, especially EVA! ✨🤍. It is strategically located, the decor is beautiful… the wine is delicious, I loved the tableware! There is parking nearby for your vehicle and other cultured guests!! Thank you Carriage Way! 🤍✨

We stayed in the Sapphire Room and were very impressed with our accommodations. Immaculately clean, delicious homemade breakfast and our hosts along with staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting outside on the veranda we got to watch a pair of Mockingbirds go in and out of one of the B & B’s trees to their nest to feed their newly hatched chicks. Would definitely stay again.

From start to finish we loved it here ! Check in was easy and our room was perfect ! Clean , great furnishings and very well Kept ! So easy to walk to all St Augustine has to offer ! Will definitely be back !

Great property, we had a blast and stayed in the gold suite, it was quiet and super convenient and they always had little snacks, and drinks out all times of the day and night :) was a wonderful trip and would stay here again, the only thing I recommend is removing the wreaths off the doors to the individual suites as mosquitos can actually breed/rest in them and we had a lot of them in our room so we had to wear bug spray every night to not get bit, literally everything else was perfect!!
