Crystal Palms Beach Resort

We spent 6 nights at the hotel. We liked the 2 bedroom condo, it was very spacious with 2 en suites and full kitchen and big balcony. Lovely view of the sea and sunset. The location is good opposite the beach, 2 minute walk to get there. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The pool was clean and warm and the hot tub was very relaxing. We were allocated our own parking space which was very convenient. To improve the stay I would say that the cleanliness could have been improved, just some dust around but nothing major. Also, need to leave out cleaning equipment such as dustpan and brush and broom. Also, no tea, coffee or water provided as per the service fee.

Wasn’t not clean

Terrible check in process. Arrived and there was a piece of paper on the door that said please check in at another property. Got to the other property and there was no signs for the office which was on the second floor. Checked in and had to pay full price even though the unit was not the same unit advertised. Parking was assigned spaces with zero communication about where the space was. The unit was dingy and smelled like mold. This place is not what you see online. I will never stay here again.

Location was great . Balcony was great . Space in room was great

Room was not clean . Dust build up on table in living room was there a long time . Floor was dirty - my bare feet were dirty walking on it . Had to travel to another business up the road to check in .

Sheets were stained. Outdoor patio chairs had no cushions. Crumbs on sofa when we arrived.

Main patio door would not open. Refrig/freezer not keeping items frozen. Sofa dirty. Back bedroom smoke detector beepiing upon arrival...had to replace battery.. Mesh blind in main bedroom missing chain so could not roll up...had to constantly move out of way since this was the only operating balcony door. No light blocking shade in main bedroom so light from building across street kept us up. Rusty drum in dryer and control panel coming off. Drinking glass stuck in disposal when we arrived. Called about patio door on day one and told maintenance would check but was never fixed during our stay. Have stayed here many years but due to lack on maintenance probably will find somewhere else.

Great for a family with two bathrooms and three sinks. Bedrooms spaced nicely apart so teens can stay up later and not be disruptive. Spacious kitchen and living area. Balcony view was excellent. Pool area was very nice. Short walk to the beach and shops. Short drive for groceries. 15 minute walk to John’s Pass.

Only complaint was the thin window coverings didn’t block the street light. Fortunately I brought a blackout mask. Could have used curtains.

Great room. Great location.

Having to check in at a different location was inconvenient and confusing.

Good location across the street from the beach, had a slight view from the 3rd floor. Condo was a decent size,

Elevator was out due to the hurricane in the summer. HOWEVER, this was never on the website; in fact, the site says facilities for disabilities. I wonder if this is a legal issue since it wasn't disclose. If we hadn't been able to carry our own luggage, this would have been a major problem. Also, sofa was stained, balcony furniture broken, lights and ceiling fans couldn't be turned on, maintenance never came event though we requested it. No onsite staff, had to drive block for information and items. Kitchen missing some basic items.

Stayed Sat. - Mon. Elevator not functioning so was switched to a 2d floor handicap accessible very outdated unit.Couches and side chairs were covered with stains. Kitchen dishes and utensils were sparse. No instructions on how to operate TVs. We should have been notified of the issues before hand and been upgraded. Property offered as compensation, no resort fee add on and a fifty dollar credit. (Was told "resort" fees was for 2 prepackaged decaf coffee pods and toiletries)
