La Meridiana

Excellent balcony view, room had tiled floors and were clean, shower was much larger than the average size you encounter in Europe , breakfast selection was ample. Short walk to Centro. Thanks to the staff for a superb stay.

We stayed here for a week in June 2025. Rooms are fairly basic but bright and clean. The air con was very welcomed, as it was a heatwave. Beds comfortable, shower lovely, room cleaned every day. Reception staff welcoming and friendly. We stayed half board, and the food (both morning and evening) was very good. Five minute walk to centre of Sorrento. The only thing this hotel is missing is a pool, but we knew that when we booked, and it's reflected in the price.

Overall exactly as advertised, we stayed 3 nights here and really enjoyed the views and location!

This hotel is three star and we stayed Half board. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the reception staff were superb. The cleaners were also brilliant. It would have rated 4 star if the restaurant was as good as the rest of the hotel. The head waiter was a very poor employee and did not know how to serve a bottle of wine. I aske for a glass of house red wine he advised a bottle as it would be cheaper. He appeared with a bottle removed the cork and put some wine into two glasses and left. It is normal to give a taste to the purchaser we sampled the wine and it was terrible. Italy is famed for its lovely wine but this was very young sharp and to me undrinkable. It was a local brew with no D.O C. or other reliable offering. This waiter was hopeless and we got hot food on cold plates and some of the description of the main meal left a lot to be desired. A sweet of sliced fruit turned out to be a banana still whole with one strawberry. Breakfast was acceptable but the electric heater to keep the food warm was not working. Some of the dishes were ok but the majority left a lot to be desired This guy got corn flakes and another packet of brakefast food to put into the tall dispensers by opening the packets with his teeth. Also when the guests had left he took the table cloths and turned them over. A good hotel spoiled by poor food and bad service

Very satisfied with our stay. Great location. Slept in quiet peace and comfort. Highly recommend booking a room with a balcony water view. Staff was pleasant and lovely. Everything was clean. Great water pressure and water temperature. Wi-Fi A+. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice hotel! Staff was very helpful, friendly and nice. Buffet breakfast was very good. Location is perfect. Roof top bar was very nice with a beautiful view! We will be back!!!

This is a very nice hotel, in a good location not far from the train station and the city center. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Hotel in a perfect location for the centre, trains etc. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Great bed linen and bath towels. Staff are great. Breakfast has enough to please you . Evening meals are chosen at breakfast. Three courses. Remember this isn’t a Michelin star restaurant but meals are adequate. Great roof top with amazing views day and sunset. This a three star so no complaints . Pleas

Very clean, beautifully designed. Excellent rooftop, with outdoor shower! Perfect location. Will be back for sure.
