Empress Angkor Resort & Spa

Generally, the staff are extremely polite and courteous, and tend to go out of their way to assist. We had stayed for 4 nights at Empress Angkor. There were bedbugs (I think) or some insects which made sleep extremely difficult. We had reported this the next morning and they sprayed something to fix it. Night 2 was good. We faced the same issue the next night & requested for some staff to attend. The hotel staff promised to send someone immediately and no one turned up. Since we were extremely tired, we didn't bother to follow up and call again. Not sure whether language was the issue. Hope they address this issue for future guests. Overall a good experience except for the bed bugs or whatever insects that were feasting on us.

Although looks antique but uniquely beautiful and staff are all friendly

The Empress Angkor was one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The entire staff was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. It was very easy to communicate with the staff in English.

Nice deco, good breakfast, poor customer service from the female receptionists, small and overpriced food, bad internet, small Toiletries, slippery bath tub, they charged for the water in the fridge without telling you, $2 dollars per each small bottle, i do Not recommend it🙊

We stayed at the Empress Angkor hotel and it was an unbelievable experience. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would. We were picked up at the airport, welcomed with a refreshing drink and excellent service. The place was immaculate and beautiful. They let us use their spa to shower and relax after our day bike tour of Agkor Wat even though we had already checked out. And to top it off, I forgot my cellphone on the van when we were dropped off at the Airport; we called them and within 30 min the driver was back at the airport to drop off my phone. I’m so thankful of their kindness and going above and beyond.

Great Hotel. Easy pick up at airport, fast check in, friendly staff. Nice big room, very clean. Good selection of Asian and Western foods for breakfast. Nice pool including pool bar with selection of Asian and western delights. Easy check out, and drop off to airport. Incredibly friendly staff, I don’t have any bad comments.

a huge property with many amenities. friendly staff and free airport and downtown shuttle services were great.

Hotel external design elements influenced by the temple decorations from Angkor Wat and the other temples with copies of many statues in the hotel grounds.Grand lobby with massive chandelier and impressive timber work.Like a Cambodian Downton Abbey.Room was spacious approx 6m x 5m with very high ceiling and timber floor.Rather dimly lit though as was the bathroom.Shower over bath requiring high step up and down- This would not suit people with limited mobility.Breakfast offered much variety of hot food but no muesli available.Gym equipment was old and much of it not operating properly. Hotel staff were always extremely polite and helpful.

Had the whole resort to myself most of the time and the staff where always very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely book again in the near future.
