Hai Tide Beach Resort

My holiday at Hai Tide Beach Resort was wonderful. My beach front lumbung was magical. The kindness of the all the staff made my trip very memorable. The food and location of the restaurants was exceptional. Everyone should come to enjoy this island paradise.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week at Bali Hai and absolutely loved every second! We stayed in a beachfront Lumbung which was perfect with a big comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and our favourite was the massive private day bed underneath. Breakfast included every day was perfect and we ate at the Hai Bar and Grill or the Hai Ri Zen every night - the food was superb. We took advantage of going to the included pontoon twice which had a fun water slide and banana boat and snorkelling. The water was beautiful. We also did an snorkelling tour on the Bali Hai Aristrocrat boat which was so fun and we went to an amazing snorkelling spot where we got to swim with a turtle! Every single staff member was also so accommodating, helpful and so kind. They made us feel very welcome and made us enjoy our stay even more. We will definitely be back!

Staff and location are amazing. We love mushroom bay. Is a fair way from jungut which is where the main shops and restaurants are. But reasurants in complex are awesome and would definitely stay again.

To be honest there was only 1 thing. And I may sound like I am complaining about nothing. But a king size bed in a beachhut feels very tight. 450mm ish down bedsides feels very confined and even to the point there's not alot of room to change.

Incredible experience! All staff are extremely kind and helpful. They always go out of their way to assist you and are so generous with their time. Such a beautiful location next to Mushroom Bay. Daily swims in the ocean were a true highlight and a treat. The activities offered such as the pontoon is a must. Amazing snorkelling and fun for all ages. Hai Tide Grill offered delicious and affordable meals always served with a smile. We will be coming back for many years to come! Thank you to Agus and his amazing team who made our trip so memorable. From check in the check out we were always looked after and treated like family. Thank you so much!

I really like the whole process of port to hotel and staff of house keeping and reception they are very good especially Kalfin very helpful with every thing such a nice lad. But didn't like the people from of restaurent and main restaurant they were not treating every one equally...!!

Stayed: September 17–20, 2025 Upon arrival at Hai Tide Beach Resort, 20km off Bali’s east coast, we were warmly greeted with a refreshing cold towel—a small touch that set the tone for our stay. We stayed in hut #14, one of the charming straw huts that give the resort its unique character. While simple, the hut was comfortable and well equipped with A/C, mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, international outlets, a safe, and daily bottled water (essential since Bali’s tap water isn’t drinkable). The beach was clean with soft sand, though the view was often obstructed by anchored boats and catamarans. A dedicated docking area would make the beach experience even better. There are also a few stray dogs, but they are docile and non-intrusive. Breakfast at Hai Bar & Grill included classic Western options and fresh juices, while Hai Ri Zen offered excellent dinners with stunning sunset views—our highlight of the stay. Reservations are recommended for the best tables. Resort Manager Agus Purnama deserves special recognition. Always smiling, approachable, and kind, he represents the warmth and hospitality Bali is famous for. During the day, Bali Hai excursion groups bring energy to the resort, but they depart by mid-afternoon, leaving the beach peaceful. Guests also have access to Bali Hai’s floating pontoon—a short boat ride away—offering snorkeling, banana boat rides, a waterslide, and more. Free bicycles are also available to explore nearby villages, or mopeds can be rented. Having stayed at multiple Bali resorts, we found Hai Tide to be one of the cleanest, best-maintained, and most welcoming. Between the unique straw huts, excellent dining, and genuine hospitality, this resort offers a memorable and relaxing island experience. Highly recommended for those looking for a laid-back getaway with Balinese charm.

Very nice place and very lovely people!! Everyone was very welcoming and made this holiday much better, plus the villa we stayed at was gorgeous.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this resort :) beautiful location. Stayed in a beach front lumbung and my kids had the best time. The place is so well taken care of, the pools are great and the staff are so lovely. The only con about this place is when it rains the whole bathroom is wet along with the toilet paper. Breakfast is nice, it’s not a buffet but rather a choose an entree and a main style breakfast. There are heaps of warungs and cafes within walking distance. Hai bar and grill is great, nice food and very friendly staff. Unfortunately Hai Ri Zen was the opposite, staff ignored us to the point we walked out without ordering. We also got stuck on the island due to weather with no boats travelling and the staff particularly sudilaga.k.d and Agus were so good to us, so friendly and so helpful, I really appreciate them! They really went above and beyond. Everyday they greet us with a smile and always polite :) Beautiful resort and beautiful staff :)
