Excellent communication from the host accommodating my late arrival Very quiet in the room, very clean bathroom

Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss but 4g coverage from EE was perfect so no problem.

"Don’t bother"

Don’t bother. Unable to get through to reception after ringing multiple times to let them know I was going to be arriving late. Emailed with no response. What’s the point of having contact details if there’s no one there to answer. Looking at previous reviews looks like I had a lucky escape! Wouldn’t give it one stars if I didn’t have too.

"The hotel needs a complete refurbishment to bring it back to hotel quality."

There was nothing to like about the Clifton hotel.

The building is very run down with no tea or coffee in the room. There was no hot water so I had to wash very quickly which was uncomfortable.
