Krabi Resort

Hotel is a worn out 3 star. Not worth 4 star rating or prices. Pictures very out of date. Did shy electrics in our room. Do not come. Badly needs a refresh and some money spent.

I had one of the worst experiences ever at Krabi Resort, and I strongly advise everyone — especially Indian travelers — to avoid this property. We stayed here recently, and right from check-in, things went wrong. The room we were given was not properly set up. The beach bag, which was supposed to be part of the room setup, was missing. The housekeeping cart was still outside when we entered, and the phone in the room didn’t even work despite multiple reminders to the staff. However, the most humiliating experience came during checkout. The hotel staff forcefully and deliberately checked our handbags in front of all other guests in the lobby and parking area. This was extremely insulting, especially in front of my 9-year-old daughter, who kept asking why we were being treated like this. After checking, they found nothing — because we hadn’t taken anything. All they could say was a simple “sorry.” This is not the kind of hospitality anyone deserves. It was pure humiliation and disrespect. We felt singled out and mistreated — it almost felt like we were being treated badly just because we are Indian tourists. Absolutely horrible service, horrible behavior, and zero professionalism.
No one deserves to be treated this way on a family vacation. Please avoid Krabi Resort if you value respect and basic hospitality.

It is an absolute shame as this hotel has so much promise..it is in a fantastic location in Krabi but the rooms and staff let it down. We booked a Duluxe room, I am not sure how it could be described as ‘Deluxe’ ..the fabric of the soft furnishing were disgusting, the electrics were bordering on dangerous with sockets hanging out the wall and for 2 days we were waiting for Maintenance to fix our safe …when we raked to colleagues and Management at the front desk they totally unhelpful and just made constant excuses. I was only when I made a formal complaint to Booking.com that some action was taken. The breakfast is like a school canteen …after travelling around Thailand for 3 weeks this has been by far our worst stay.

When we arrived the staff at reception were very welcoming. Unfortunately our room wasn’t ready so we wandered around the hotel and looked at the beach. We have booked a tropical pool villa, with full board for 7 nights. The hotel is really well located, the rooms we got were clean, but the furniture are old. When our room was ready, we were helped by the bellboy, which was very much appreciated to our room. The room itself was absolutely fine. The bathroom was also fine. Plenty of towels for us all I didn’t think it was dirty it looked clean enough to us The next morning we tried breakfast: nothing is fresh, the choice is very limited, the staff is absent and pays no attention to you, The breakfast was extremely disappointing. No labeling what you get there to eat. They didn't fill up and dirty tables either. The food as well we found quite bland or stodgy and tasteless. This goes for the fruit and salad options as well. We did enjoy the toast though. The full board menu contain only a few thai and western meal, it will be boring in 7 days stay. No fresh meal, no fresh fruit in the menu. The service is simply mediocre for a property supposed to be a 4-star. All the staff at the hotel are running with a face of rum, no smile what we are used to in Thailand, and nobody greet us when meet. . There is a bar at this pool but is not staffed. There is also an area I imagine was once used as an area to order food. This area is now a builder site. With no builders. This gym is well equipped and was always empty. From the website of the hotel „Where its nature is unspoiled, with scenery never forget” - Total Joke!!!! We won again to the hotel and demanded our money back. We can not recommend this place in any way. Please find another hotel, there are enough of them in Aonang.

We stayed at the Krabi Resort for five nights for the annual Indochina Mekong Hash House Harriers event. We liked our spacious room with a large bathroom conveniently located near the pool and the lobby. The breakfast options were good. Our only complaint was the AC was a little weak. Otherwise, a great, fun stay.

First, I must comment upon the resort booking situation, which I did both over the phone and through the internet. The staff on a number of occasions, including my request to change the dates of my stay, were accommodating, friendly and helpful. The resort provides (paid) airport arrival and departure transport, which I accessed on arrival. The driver was punctual, friendly and a good safe driver. My room which was 0203, situated in a storied building adjacent to the gymnasium, was accessed by stairs or a lift. The room was of average size, sufficient for two people with a small balcony overlooking a small garden area. The room was clean and well maintained by the staff while I was there. The resort provides water, tea and coffee daily and the necessary kettle. My room was extremely quiet, far enough away from any external noise, allowing me to enjoy a good nights rest. The grounds of the resort are immaculate due to daily maintenance, however there were some areas where upgrading of the area resulted in temporary dislocation. The location of the resort is perfect for a vacation, with the front opening to the main street and all its shops and restaurants and the rear opening onto the beach allowing for an early morning stroll and swim if that is your desire. The resort provides a buffet type breakfast that literally caters for everyone, with an extremely wide selection of food. One would never starve! The dining area is open plan with tables of various sizes to accommodate small and large groups. The serving staff are friendly and helpful, starting your day with a smile. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my 8 night stay, highly recommend the resort to travellers and will no doubt return again.

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The reception was cold and unwelcoming — nothing like the hospitality you’d expect from a resort. Staff were indifferent, unfriendly, and made no effort to be helpful. The facilities, especially the dining area, were substandard and poorly maintained. Overall, this place completely failed to meet even basic expectations. I would never return and strongly advise others to avoid it.

Good hospitality

You can tell this resort use to be amazing. Sadly it has declined. We had a luxury grand pool room and were not impressed considering the price. The beach access is the real selling point of this resort. Off season meant the food was less than desirable from breakfast to ordering off the menu. The room was somewhat clean but no where near 4 star resort clean. It was okay for the off season but wouldn’t come back for the price.

Room was comfortable with nice vie. The resort is very old. I couldn’t find anything good in the breakfast so I ate outside. Locations is wonderful! Very close to everything!
