Krabi Resort

The resort is amazing! Close to all the bars and restaurants and nightlife Ao Nang has to offer, yet far enough away (set back from the main road) that it’s peaceful. The private beach is a huge bonus as the beach line gets quite busy there. The breakfast buffet was great! The rooms were wonderful and clean. Excellent resort with a great price!

Great location

Our experience was not that great at all. We arrived a couple hours early because of our flight to Krabi. Our room was not ready until 2:20, check in is at 2pm. Once we were FINALLY able to get to our room it was a complete disappointment. I booked the luxury grand room and the room we got was anything but that. The pictures online do not match the actual rooms at all. I went to the front desk to complain about this and the ladies told me the resort was fully booked but after I told them this was unacceptable that I booked the room based on the pictures that are posted online both on Expedia and on their actual website. They switched us to a different room but it was the exact same except it was an upstairs room. Upon getting into our new room we had to have staff come unlock and reset our room safe. Apparently this resort has a policy where you only get 1 room key which is a huge pain. We also had to go back to the front desk to get a special card that keeps the a/c and electricity in the room on while we are out and about. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were super nice and friendly but in all honesty all the ladies at the front desk should be fired. They all have attitudes and act as if any request is an inconvenience for them. If I was the owner I would fire them and hire much nicer more accommodating front desk people. I will be reaching out to Expedia personally and asking for a partial refund since the room I booked was not the actual room that we got.

Abysmal avoid at all costs

We stayed in the older hotel units overlooking the pool. They were absolutely great. Space, baloney large bathroom. The facilities were excellant. Two teenage boys plenty to do. Beach on your doorstep with paddle boarding or kayaking. Pools, bars and massive buffett breakfast. Right in the center of Ao Nang so easy access. However once back in the resort totally peaceful. Lovely and attentive st a ff

I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Ordered a Luxury Grand Room, based on the photos in the website, attached. Got an ancient room with absolutely no resemblance to any of the photos. Dirt, no balcony, smaller bathroom, no view, etc. Asked for a room change and had to compromise a lot, but nothing like in the pictures. Keep that in mind and maybe consider something else in Krabi.

Great hotel

I have been a guest at this resort many times the last 20 years. I have allways liked the charm and atmosphere of the old part of the hotel, called "the main building". That is more for the older part of the guests, travelling without children. We had a nice week here again, but we wonder about the management of the resort this time. The same day we moved into our room, the staff had put in a new fridge in the room. The old broken one was standing outside our door for several days, before I removed it myself. This was after we, 2 times, asked the reception to remove it.... The brand new fridge in our room never worked our entire stay, even if we told the reception two or three times to take care of it..... We were told that the resort was under-staffed, but the management seemed unable to sort out simple things like removing a broken fridge from outside our door, and make a brand new fridge work....

We booked a beach access pool villa and the room was very impressive. I really enjoyed the room, the pool was kinda green, but I believe there were chemicals added the second or third day which cleaned it up nicely. I preordered the full board which included breakfast, lunch and dinner for those that don’t know what a full and half board are. The food wasn’t that impressive for the price I paid for the room and being a resort. I believe most of the food is possibly frozen and not fresh but I could be wrong. I recommend buying just the breakfast or half board. We had to request turn down service which was quite odd. Other than that the stay was quite enjoyable, and me and my partner enjoyed our time in Krabi. The bed was very comfortable and I slept amazing.
