"STAY AWAY"

Very bad management, stay away. They didn't have my hotel.com reservation, made me wait hours just to tell me afterwards - you can go book somewhere else - which is where I left. They offered me a horrible small military child sized bed instead of the two single beds required, no internet in the rooms, I checked out and lost my money. They said I could have it back from expedia, but didn't help in the process. luckily I was there only for 1 night. very bad day

Great location, above average room sizes, nice pool, breakfast included was just okay. Stayed in 3 different rooms during our 2 stays. Room conditions varied from average to good.

"Not the best but best for the price"

Timber House Ao Nang is not a super pricy hotel in Ao Nang Beach area. Its location is not super close to the beach and its facilities are not the best among its competitors, but its rooms are big, clean, and comfortable. Most important is its rooms have sufficient sunlight. All rooms have sliding-door window. Plenty sunlight and we could hear birds' singing.

"Ao Nang Timber House Resort Review"

It is located a bit outskirt of Ao Nang shopping area. You need to walk far to reach the shopping area. There is no place to eat nearby .... overall the room is big, facilities such swimming pool is awesome. Krabi is nothing but just a beautiful island ... snorkling at the island was not as much attraction of snorkling at Mamutik Island, Sapi Island in Kota Kinabalu. And it is not comparable to Sipadan ... the food are expensive and the tranport also expensive. If you want to spent your money over souvenir please go to Krabi Town instead of Ao Nang. Trust me it worth it

"Good location & comfortable room"

The room is big & nice but the floor is not very clean. Location close to everything. Staff are friendly. The swimming pool is clean. The breakfast not much choice, only egg, bread, sausage, fried rice & noodles. Opposite resort have some food stalls selling cheap delicious local foods. Overall is very pleasant to stay in this resort & will recommend to others.

"Cheap, Large Room, Clean, Basic, Bad service"

The room is LARGE and the Hotel has a LOVELY swimming Pool. It is not so far from the main area of shops. (towards the end of town). the Hotel itself (and cleanliness) is fine. But the service of Front Desk and the Policys of the Hotel are extremely low. They broke a personal item of my friend in front of our eyes (by mistake) at the check in counter and they didn't apologize or say anything. But worse of all (in my opinion) they do not allow any late checkout at all. not even 30 minutes. their policy is no late check out at all,, EVEN IF THE HOTEL IS NOT BUSY!!! which i have never seen before in any hotel. this strikes me as bad service and selfish.
