The property is stunning, calm, and beautiful

There isn’t air conditioning which seems really strange for a five-star property. And yes, the air cools down at night, but the rooms are uncomfortably warm in the day in August when prices are highest.

If you wish for a relaxing break, I can think of no better venue. Staying at this hotel was just a beautiful experience all round, thank you to all the staff who are lovely: polite, knowledgeable not corporate and genuinely desire for guests to enjoy the stay as a 'home away from home' with all the attributes of being cared for to the highest standards. All the food is amazing! A special note of thanks to the wonderful sommelier who went above and beyond, even organising us a private winery tour through her contacts. Exquisite and can't wait to return!

We had the most incredible stay at this delightful property! Our time in Ortisei was not long enough so we will certainly be back and when we return I will check the availability of this hotel first!! When they say it is a family run business it is no exaggeration. The service is incomparable and we believe it is because of the family care and connection, Our meals were delicious, the room so comfortable (I fell asleep to the sound of a rushing river outside the balcony each night) and they were so helpful with hiking advice-which was the reason for our stop there, The hotel is located right across from the center of town which means it's convenient but QUIET. And lastly the spa! It's the perfect spot to relax and rebuild after a physically challenging day on the mountain. It has sauna, cold plunge, steam room, hot tub and the most gorgeous indoor pool you will ever see, If you have the opportunity to stay here do not miss it.

Just WOW- from start to finish, an epic hotel experience. The room was over the top outstanding with every amenity and comfort possible (a pillow menu!!!). Every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and amazingly responsive. The breakfast buffet was unmatched, as was the spa. If you choose to stay here, you are in for the treat of a lifetime!!!

The staff really stood out for me. Extremely helpful not only for local eats but also on hikes/gondolas to take in the area. They even had hiking sticks and bags for us to use. The breakfast was incredible and the room size was great. I would easily go back.

There is no AC. Just be mindful. We didn't find any properties in the area that had AC. This was not a deal breaker as the hotel provided fans and the temperature really cooled off at night. Even with this, I'm rating the hotel a 10/10. Incredible place.
