Hotel Marincanto

Amazing location and view. Caring staff.

There are constant wedding ceremonies in the hotel (or was the case when we were there) and service in its restaurant may sometimes lack in support of the wedding. A bit rundown but everything functioned.

Fantastic staff very knowledgeable and helpful at check in. Not easy to get to from the ferry terminal unless you walk along the beach and up 300 stairs. Taxi is not available and the porter’s from the ferry are questionable.

시설이 깨끗하고 프라이빗 해변은 좋았음

동양인 무시를 알고 갔지만..번번히 계속 무시당함 1.3시 30분이 되어도 체크인방이 아직 청소되지 않았다고 기다리라고함.모든 고객이 그런건지 내방만 그런건지 따지니 갑자기 체크인방은 줌 2.체크인방에 갔는데 키가 고장. 다시 올라가서 교체받음. 3.다음날 조식때 우리만 룸넘버 더블 체크함 4.체크아웃. 후 레스토랑 식사시 오징어 앤 새우 튀김을 시켰으나 오징어만 옴 왜 새우가 없냐니 잠시만하던 칵테일 새우 작은거 4개 튀겨옴 5.체크아웃. 후 버스타는곳까지 짐을 이동시켜주는 서비스를시킴.버스 시간이 앞당겨져서 변경.버스출벌시간 알려주고 2시40 분까지 꼭 도착해야한다고 더블체크함 40분까지 안와서 한국인가이드가호텔에 전화하고 50분에 차도아니고 직원이 끌고옴. 이모든 과정에서 미안하다는 소리는 짐가져온직원만했음 호텔직원은 미안하다말 말이 한번도 없음 그낭 그렇다 알겠다 기다려라 였음 비싼돈주고 제일 기분나빴던 호텔 그 해변을 이용하고 싶으면 옆 비치클럽이용바람 그게 가성비좋음. 썬베드도 더 이쁨.

This is our 6th time in Marincanto and we never consider any other hotel in Positano. They have access to their own private beach. But more than that it’s people and services. This Terra it was especially nice! They make you feel special. Breakfast in the terrace is wonders. A new pink bar is a charmer. They always improve and enhance. Love it there!

The staff here was second to none. Paulo was so helpful and welcoming and we loved having drinks with Piatro. The hotel was beautiful and very well maintained. I would say our room (Villa 6) was a mixed bag. The view was simply amazing, but the bed was not comfortable and our shower was tiny. Upon check out, I mentioned the bed and was told they would have swapped out our mattress…so lesion learned there. We would come back here if we returned to Positano.
