In Riva al Lago

website misleading, does not face the lake at all. hotel is right behind bus station. rooms were super tiny and our room was bunk beds. no amenities at all. more like a hostel. staff was very nice and courteous.

Nice place. Great food at breakfast (included). Evening restaurant also served great food at good value.

Would recommend! Great breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff and quick service. Room was sizeable and bathroom was everything you need. Great home base to explore lake como. Only thing is wifi a little choppy at times and a little noise from restaurant below but not a big deal to us.

We stayed here for 2 nights before heading further up the lake. An excellent location - shops, ferries, restaurants and the cable car all within very close walking distance. Our room and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the buffet breakfast was really good! We stayed in the bunk beds which was fine for 2 nights only, very good value. If you are staying for more than this however it may be useful to get somewhere with a private bathroom as there were time restrictions on when you could use showers, which could get a little annoying with a long stay. We enjoyed our stay here overall.

Such a great location, right in the heart. Near to great local restaurants, shops, bus stop and much more. Although it felt a little bit like a hostel with shared bathrooms, we didn't mind. Amazing hotel staff and just the most spectacular breakfast.

This place is located right near the trains and bus station, with comfortable bunk beds for a family of 4, even one shares common shower and bathroom area, which are very clean indeed. No safety concern whatsoever, and the breakfast layout is impressive also. Separate parking for $10/day can be arranged as well. Great for short visit!

Family vacation for all ages. Easy to walk around, excellent shopping and restaurants. Hotel placed my parents on the lower floor, which they appreciated as there is no elevator. Hotel looks like it is in an alley, and may not look new on the outside, but it is great inside, roomy, clean and feels new. We had an ensuite bathroom, and comfortable beds. We would all stay again. Very good breakfast in the morning included!

All you need for a short stay. Staff excellent. Breakfast was amazing and complete. The room was comfortable and clean. Close to all the attractions. I would go back again.

Clean efficient hostel accommodations with a friendly staff, central location and a great little restaurant attached. Drink a beer at the restaurants on the lake and have your dinner here!
