In Riva al Lago

The service was great. The breakfast was greater. The rooms were clean and cosy but there is no elevator. It was more quiet than I thought which was good. The wifi signal was unstable. The hotel was safe and easy to go anywhere in Como lake area.

It was a great spot in the town of Como Carmelo was very nice and helped us carry luggage up 3 floors (but we could see the lake from the front window

Nice Hotel, close to lake, clean and very kind staff. Would recommend to friends and others looking to get away for a trip at a reasonable price. Staff were vey kind assisting with bags to the room and always available to give some advice. All in all a very well run little hotel in a great location. Book early to make sure you get a room.

Excellent location by the lake, bus and rail stations, lots of places to eat. Breakfast not included during low season. Helpful staff, good English. But no phone or toiletries in the room.

There's a laundromat about 100m away. Car parking is available in an underground garage nearby for a reasonable fee. The manager is very friendly and speaks good English.

It's a newly renovated bed and breakfast. Like old buildings, there are no lifts. The stairs difficult to climb with big luggage. We were helped up by the receptionist. Both receptionists are very nice fellows and speak good English. The location is close to train and bus station. But be aware, the train station does not connect to Milan Centrale. It connects to Milan Cadorna. Check. There are so many restrictions they impose on the room. Gave us a dorm type room. The toilets have no ventilation but new and clean. I would still recommend this hotel but not for honeymooners.

Would recommend it for college students to use for weekend trips on study abroad semesters.

Value for money. Basic hotel without any facilities, but you have nothing to complaint with such a price and proximity with the point of interest around.

Very close to the lake & the boats that take you out for rides, but best was the closeness to the old part of town. The cathedral is simply breathtaking & the little winding cobblestone roads have lots of shops & places to eat. The staff at Riga was so helpful = making sure we knew how to use the keys & etc. The parking is a block away & very secure. We liked our stay, but were surprised at the traffic in Como. Take a good map, To find Riga, pull into the bus station at the east end of town.
