In Riva al Lago

The hotel is positioned well for the summer season and very clean. The check-in is open until 23hrs we arrived at 22:30 and the proprietor (?) complained about this. We were made to feel most unwelcome. There is also no breakfast served in the low season. Parking is available but at charge of 9 euros per day . Only one towel each supplied in bathroom with a 2 euro charge for extra towel. Look at the house rules and it will give you an idea of the mentality of the management. We travel often in Italy and are usually given a warm welcome and good breakfast here we felt we were an inconvenience. May be a good hotel in the high season but we would never book this hotel again!

Overall the hotel is great. Shared bathrooms in my stay but they were in excellent condition. I would recommend staying there. There are sights to see in Como so it is better to go with a partner.

The hotel was very close to the city center which is good. If we need to use the washroom, we could always go back to the hotel. The room was clean. We opted for the shared bathroom which was also clean.

A good value hotel in an expensive town, this hotel is close to town and has lake views. The facilities were basic but clean, warm and secure. No tea/coffee or kettle, eating not allowed in rooms and no breakfast over Winter months.

Loved our room, G2 I believe it was. Location is close to bus and train station, awesome room, and Mario was very helpful. Big plus was the multitude of outlets in our room for charging all our devices. Would have loved to stay for more than a night to visit the area. No elevators in the property, so pack light.

There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up the stairs with luggage if need be. The concierge was very nice and helped me with my luggage, but not an ideal situation if you have a big suitcase. The room was like a dorm room with bunk beds..more like a pensione. Otherwise directly across the street from Como Nord station and conveniently located. Concierge very helpful with everything.

Very unpleasant building. Good location. The stuff wasn't nice at all

We stayed here for our introductory night to our holiday in the Italian Lakes. Great location near the train station and Lake and within easy walking distance of Como township. Parking was available for our car. The host was a real character, friendly and informative. Room was cosy and clean with a great view of the church spire and bells which was cool to open the window in the morning and wake up to. Breakfast was superb.

Overall great location but rooms located on the 2nd/3rd floor without an elevator so can it can be challenging to get up the stairs if you have many luggage or late at night. Security is good: the gate is protected by a security passcode, the same with accessing rooms on your floor. Each room has it's own key. Driving and parking in Como's narrow streets can be a challenge, the hotel's parkase was narrow.
