Port Benidorm Hotel & Spa

There was major construction work going on that we were not made aware of beforehand. It was impossible to sit by the pool as there was a lot of noise,crains carrying walls, heavy metal materials and it was scary being in that area. The shower in the bathroom leaked really bad out onto the floor, we informed reception and told them that we had to use the towels and bedding to soak it up. We then said that we needed fresh towels as we were going to the beach, when we returned there was still no towels, we had to shower and air dry and again use our bedding to dry the bathroom floor up. When we finally got ready we went to reception to make them aware that we had not received the towels we were told by the reception that they only had one cleaner on and that they would get the towels to us when they had time. We left around 9pm and they were in the room when we returned around 2am. The noise from the construction work woke us very early in the morning. We could not relax by the pool and the staff were not friendly at all.

Hotel was in perfect location for the beach and strip, staff were lovely and food was great, only downside was the smart lifts, we ended up using the stairs a lot. Rooftop bar was lovely with spectacular views. Pool area was good with bar and lots of beds. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and easy to get around the local area. Food options at the restaurant were great and the staff made excellent margaritas! The bathroom in the bedroom is awful as the door swings open and closed with no lock, and it was a glass bathroom offering absolutely no privacy at all.

Building work going on very very noisy had to get away from the hotel in the daytime

A lot of building work going on our room was next to it they started work banging at 7.30 every morning. The swimming pool area as was no better as music on very loud to try and cover building noise

Another great stay at the Port Benidorm hotel even although the building work is still ongoing thanks to all the staff
