The room wasn’t clean, the ceiling had wallpaper that was hanging off and water marks the shower was either burning hot or cold.

Cosy clean friendly and value for your money.

Well breakfast cleared away as I came to the dinning room at 9.20 am But the staff did fetch me a full scottish breakfast straight from the kitchen.

The hotel is walking distance to the beaches and harbour and food and drink areas.

I think the breakfast each morning does need looked at. To be fair and honest, a cooked breakfast is hard to get wrong, and this one could have been better. The produce all good quality but badly prepared. The hotel bar and restaurant not very inviting. You would not spend an evening in the bar, unless desperate for a late night drink that ends at 10:30pm bar closing. Budget price, so good hotel for a bed for the night.

Good location, competitive pricing, friendly and welcoming staff, decent breakfast. Hotel was also very quiet and along with super comfy bed we had an enjoyable and restful stay. We didn’t have sight of the bay from our room but was lovely view over the golf course in the morning.

Rooms were functional however general decor was a bit dated.
