Numa Salzburg Mozart

Again easy to get in and we got early check in which was a nice bonus! Rooms spacious and fittings decadent. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous bath at the end of the bed was a wonderful relief with the unexpected cold weather. Close to all attractions. Only question is that a toaster for breakfast would be great. Otherwise fantastic stay.

We had planned a nice weekend for the festival and came across the Numa Mozart Hotel - not exactly cheap at around €300 per night. Unfortunately there was a strong smell of mold, the bathroom was also full of mold (see photos). Not great with a pregnant woman, especially for that price, although even at 50€ it would be inappropriate. The lamp was destroyed and the hanging hook was also torn out - that wouldn't have been so bad. But the mold was. It is also very noisy due to the busy road, luckily there were earplugs... without them it would have been hard to sleep. However, I was particularly surprised by the customer service. I reported the case and asked for a price reduction. However, they didn't try to help me (apart from a 20% voucher - which I can't do anything with) but instead told me why I only reported it afterwards - they are trying to blame the customer, but they themselves are not aware of any fault - very annoying and arrogant. I would have spared myself and Numa this post for a reasonable compensation. I therefore strongly advise against booking this hotel - unless you want mold, bad smells and noise for this price.

This place has no reception and I was not sent any email with instructions. Luckily a cleaning person let me in, and a hotel guest explained to me how checkin worked. I had to call the chain's call center, where they sent me a link where I had to provide some information and had to scan my ID, but that did not work with Firefox. Then I tried Chrome, and luckily that worked, so finally I was able to get the code to enter my room. Worst checkin experience ever!

There was an issue with the C02 detector beeping in my original room - was an issue trying to get a hold of a real person to switch room. Once the room was changed everything was pleasant and comfortable.

Lovely hotel with great amenities. Would be great to have more luggage storage.

I’ve got to assume some of these high reviews are paid for. The rooms itself was great. We stayed in one with a balcony that was both spacious and clean. The problem is the people who work for the hotel via WhatsApp and their communication. Digital check in was no problems and we were comfortable with this. There was a fault with the TV, which after two nights of messaging a robot and occasionally a person they did not fix. They offered a 10% discount however they ended up billing me the total amount. The onsite staff came up to the room on our second night at 4pm without notifying me and whilst my child was asleep and I was in the shower, they entered the room. My scared and petrified child asked them to go outside and my child got me from the shower. Having contacted the hotel, they refuse to even acknowledge entering a room without notifying the guest (and it not being for housekeeping or room service) is not okay. My daughter didn’t sleep the next two nights as she thought someone was going to enter and was scared. Again, the hotel and location is great. Easy walk to old town. The digital check in is fine and using a hotel that communicates via WhatsApp is also fine. The issue is the staff who work for the hotel via WhatsApp. They are rude and if there is a problem (which there often is) they are unhelpful, passive aggressive and just people you don’t want to deal with on holidays. Apologising and trying to make things better for mistakes goes a long way - just saying! Would recommend another hotel.

First class boutique hotel. Excellent. Deco, comfort, amenities, quiet My third stay there in the past few months. Will return if price is right (very big flacuations).

Renovated design hotel. The small room is extremely optimized. Although its nice, you will feel quickly the urge to get out because 1/tiny half table to work 2/seating in the toilet, get your head banged in the sink 3/oppressing limited space unfortunately The self-service is pleasant, nothing to say about it. Communication was little but efficient.
