Hotel Falken

Bed bug. That's all. The worst hotel I have stayed in my life. They should clean the room.

No view and room rather small, but very well located in central Luzern. Finding breakfast in the town was not a problem. Staff very helpful. Spotlessly clean. Air conditioning worked well and there was a fantastic shower! We didn't try the hotel restaurant (fondue) but it looked good. Little bit of noise in mornings (shops opening up) but ok. Bells, of course, but otherwise we had complaints at all.

While the hotel is at a great location, bang on the corner of Lake Lucerne, the hotel is a crammed space. The hotel receptionist first charged me extra city charge without telling me and when I went back down upon reviewing expedia terms, she offered cash back. The so called family room had one bunk bed with two births and two single beds lodged under them. My 4 year old son hit his head twice to the roof of the bunk bed and twice on the walls as there was not much space to move around. The evening receptionist was awful and didn't speak a word of English (I tried a bit of chinese/mandarin considering appearance). The bathroom was possibly designed for one skinny person only. When I sat on the toilet my knees were hitting the wall on one side and shower cubicle on other side. I booked last minute and wanted something close by. Location is great and we could take frequent to and from trips from hotel to places like 'lion monument', 'lake - paddle boat rides', 'city tour' etc. The hotel does not have facilities for a breakfast. If you are with just friends and want a place to just lay your back flat after a great night out perhaps this place is great. But not for families at a price I paid.

Good location, close to main street, but the room is very small. There is no chair in the room. Only one luggage can be opened at a time since the space is too small

Very convenient location.

They have an Asian Fondue restaurant in the hotel, and the smell of the cheeses permeated the hallways and our room. The room was hot, and the small stand-alone AC unit did not provide any relief. The room was compact and we difficulty maneuvering around the stacked luggage and furniture.

The hotel needs a major refurbishment, the comfort room door will not even close and the beds are just the worst, all sagging except the middle part so when you lay down if feels you are drowning. Will not recommend.Comfort of clients is not on their top agenda. We stayed at room 305.

Close to train station but very small room , no space to walk if you have luggage , bunk bed for family of four adults, not very convenient.

I like the location of the hotel, right in the center of the old town of Lucerne. Very convenient to go to any places from the hotel. The receptionist is a student who is very nice. She is always happy to answer questions.

No air-condition, noisy, very bad mattress quality.
