Goldstar Appartements Nice

Amazing place to live in the centre of NICE, close to lovely restaurants, boutique shops and cafe a supermarket 2 mins away & the Promenade only 5 mins walk. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms spacious and clean. Overall a fantastic stay & is highly recomenrded.

Spacious and very quiet suite with a very comfortable bed, super black-out curtains. The only snafu was that the AC was not working, luckily after the first night the temps in Nice dropped and they brought in a fan, but if it had been a bit warmer it could have been a problem. This property is in very convenient neighborhood, close enough to all the main sights but just on the edge of the madness so it is quiet at night.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. If you are looking for plenty of space and a good location at a good price, this is a good choice. We really appreciated the extra room of a suite and being three blocks from the beach and just a few blocks from the old town. Downsides: Property has seen better days; not dirty or rundown, just a bit worn. Suite kitchen very small; I wouldn’t plan on doing any real cooking there. But fridge and microwave provide for simple food storage and prep. Overall, could be disappointing if you’re seeking/expecting luxury. But great if just want slave and convenient location.

Hotel is a bit dated and in need of upgrades. Cleaning is not offered on stays under 3 nights, which was not clear at booking. Positively, the rooms are big and the hotel is located a few minutes from the promenade, beach and tons of restaurants and shopping.

The pros- the location of the hotel is fantastic. It's a short walk from the beach, transporation, sightseeing, good restaurants, etc. It's a clean property and the bed was comfortable. The cons- the place lacks any character. It feels like a Motel 6 which really takes away from the experience of being in the French Riviera. Also, even though it was supposed to be a nonsmoking room and property, our hall wreaked of cigarette smoke which permeated our room. Management did nothing about it. We would not stay here again. Find something better.

Loved it - spacious suit 50m2 that sleeps 4 comfortably, with a hallway, living area, kitchenette, bathroom and toilet - electric shutters on windows and partition doors to separate rooms. Reception was amazingly helpful, really pleasurable last minute booking that worked out well

no wine glass available, no ice available in the hotel, had to walk to a grocery store for ice, never saw that in my life, no good coffee available, no milk, no coffee machine, will never go back there again.

Great location. Spacious clean room/suite. Usual expected facilities although we could get any milk to make tea. However, the staff were very polite & helpful.

Very expensive and the pull-out bed is very uncomfortable.

Nice place. First two days there was some ridiculous construction, incessant banging for 5-6 hours per day, but after I complained the noise ceased. Otherwise nice place
