Loud club music played all day around poolside Accept children’s booking but under 13 years old not allowed in the pool Expensive parking although can park right outside free Have sent many email to them regarding other issues. They have never even acknowledged receipt of them Not at all professional.

We stayed at the Met first time August and upon arrival immediately impressed by hotel design and standards.Staff immaculately dressed ,well trained and polite.rooms were of good size and again good standard. Cons-hotel is isolated in relation to attractions so car or taxis needed but not bit issue.music at pool area was loud and invasive to stage were we did not use main hotel for most of day and choose to stay at the beach club instead.Please note I do not mind music being played in such areas but this was loud club/rave music which required conversions to be held at shoutings levels .We arrived after a long early morning journey and tried to rest in our room mid afternoon but gave up because of the noise and went for a walk.If someone told me their music policy had changed I would return .

Just stayed at The Mett for our 4th visit and we will definitely not be returning in peak season. It’s not all bad (or we wouldn’t have returned) and I would like to list the positives first:- The hotel is very clean and the rooms are nice. Beds are comfy, showers are good and the housekeeping service does a good job. Fresh bottles of water in the room daily. The food is good. Breakfast has plenty of choice and good quality. The hotel is in a nice position right on the beach. Sun loungers are very comfy. Pool area is lovely. Now the negatives:- Noisy!!! If you want a quiet relaxing break do not come here! The whole hotel is noisy. The corridors and rooms have hard tiled floors so you can hear everyone clomping around. They have DJs at the hotel and the music is LOUD! And not the sort of music you want to be relaxing to. On one of the days the Isola restaurant had a private party with a DJ which could be heard as well as the music around the pool. If you want a nap take noise cancelling earphones! The hotel advertises as not recommended for children under 12. There were definitely children under 12 staying there and could be heard running around the hotel corridors. They were also in the pool splashing other guests who complained. This wasn’t a big deal for us but if you specifically want a child free break then you might be disappointed. We asked the hotel their policy and received a very confusing reply. Basically saying that children aren’t recommended but they can’t do anything about it. They also said children not allowed in the pool but did nothing about the children actually in the pool. On sunny days the pool area is heaving with people. The hotel rents sun loungers to people not staying in the hotel. This means that the pool area is over crowded and not enough sun loungers for the guests if you don’t get up at 8am. They also remove belongings if you leave the sun lounger unattended (which makes going for lunch a bit of a gamble)! It’s the same on the beach. The Mett only has the Isola Italian restaurant for dinner (we liked it) (and the bar for tapas). There is a Greek restaurant but this is only open a few days and if you haven’t booked in advance you can’t get a table. Didn’t bother us as we know the area well and like to visit nice restaurants but this may be a problem if you don’t have a car and wanted to stay in the hotel. Very difficult to get a drink around the pool. There aren’t enough staff. You have to find someone to come and take your order. This was the same when we came out of peak season too. The staff are really doing their best and working very hard but it is obvious that they are run ragged. Side note - if you are thinking of staying at the end of August check the dates of the cancelada fair. It is 3 nights and the music is so loud and went on until 5am (luckily we were only here for the last day of it). Not the hotels fault but just worth mentioning as we didn’t sleep until gone 5am on the first night. Also be prepared to sit next to people around the pool chain smoking, vaping (also sat next to someone with a cigar) and having very loud important conversations into their phones as that seems to be the type of peak season clientele. So all in all, despite liking some aspects of the Mett we probably won’t be returning and most definitely not in July or August when the hotel is at its busiest!

Typically several minutes waiting for phone pick up and simple requests require several calls to action. Loud music until past 11pm.

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. Being recently renovated the amenities exceeded our expectations. The chef Mirel Stefan was truly impressive, delivering with kindness and professionalism. We also want to thank Ecaterina for her recommendation and service at the concierge!

Absolutely stunning stay at METT. We enjoyed every day, stuff was incredibly friendly, perfect service, everything was exceptional. I would like to thank exceptionally Kateryna for her help. Highly recommended! Can’t wait to come back again!

We want to thank the whole reception team for the great service. They have implemented all our requests and wishes to our complete satisfaction. We would especially like to highlight Irene and Taina who always brought a smile to our face and additionally surprised us with one or two gifts.

The Mett is a true 5 * hotel. The things that make it a fabulous experience are- The staff who are on WhatsApp all the time for any query and who are all warm, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food-breakfast is not only tasty it is beautifully presented and a fantastic selection on offer. The room- nice size and has an extremely comfortable bed. Massive shower and well equipped bathroom including a pouch of accessories his/hers for ablutions. Adequate (not loads) of wardrobe space and a safe aswell. There is a full length mirror and table but no dressing table as such. We also had a sofa. Balcony overlooked pool and sea which was gorgeous and highly recommended. Cleaned every day but no turn down service at night. No kettle but a coffee machine and also fully stacked mini bar. Complimentary daily water. The pool- wowza a huge pool in the middle of the hotel. Just perfect as was the whole pool area. Bar / food service all day , again delicious food and excellent service. The pool staff worked so hard delivering food/ drinks/ towels. Never a problem getting a subbed. Beach is over the path and also excellently served by the staff. Concierge- very helpful and always on hand to call a cab etc. couldn’t have been more helpful. Only 2 things to say that are negative as follows- Smoking is allowed around the pool area and we even saw people smoking actually in the pool. Desperately need a designated area for smokers and forbid smoking in the pool. Problem is groups come for the day (think beach club vibes) and so perhaps aren’t too bothered about their fellow guests. We spoke to one of the managers who said they were working on it and have had many complaints. It really did spoil sitting by the gorgeous pool. The only other negative is that at times the music by the pool was far too loud. Live music was amazing we loved it but the daily DJ needs to turn it down a notch or two so we can at least hear ourselves speak to each other (and we were sitting on the double sunbeds!) I understand it is very modern to have a DJ by the pool but this was another level bass. The actual music was ok but the volume was a bit much. Overall we would definitely return if there was a no smoking policy by the pool area.
