The Mett hotel is a real gem, standout against the competition in its own right. Class, luxury, with the feel of exclusivity, all at a good value. I will be returning very soon with friends and family.

Großzügig, stilvoll und mit einer tollen Atmosphäre. Auch der direkte Zugang zum Strand ist ein riesiger Pluspunkt und macht den Aufenthalt noch entspannter. We had a fantastic experience at Mett Hotel in Estepona, Spain. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived — friendly, professional, and always helpful. The food was delicious with a great variety, and every meal felt like a treat. One of the highlights was the beautiful heated pool, accompanied by relaxing lounge music from a live DJ – the perfect atmosphere to unwind. Our room was stylishly decorated, with a luxurious feel and a stunning view of the pool area. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s modern, comfortable, and truly focused on guest satisfaction. Above all, the staff made our stay unforgettable with their warmth and hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

This was our first ever stay in a METT hotel and we genuinely hope, it won’t be our last. We stayed for 10 days in a deluxe pool/sea view room. The rooms were comfortable with a large shower. The only slight disappointment was the poor selection of TV channels and being unable to access any apps such as Netflix, somewhat surprising for a 5 star hotel. The hotel has been completely renovated and is well situated between the towns of San Pedro and Estepona. What stands out about this hotel are the staff. From the General Manager downwards, they were exemplary. I particularly want to mention the Customer Experience team who made a big effort to not only get to know their clients but also go out of their way to try and help in any way. It will be hard to find a more stunning pool area which leads directly out to the beach. We never had a problem getting a very comfortable lounger around the pool although the hotel was not full but is more likely to be so in the peak months of July and August. The hotel has two excellent restaurants, one Italian, the other Greek, we ate at both of them and found the menu varied and the food very tasty. The buffet breakfast is also excellent with a vast selection including an egg station, catering for every type of egg dish. I said earlier ‘Almost perfect”. Here’s why. The hotel advertises as offering a “Lifestyle” vibe. I had no idea what that meant but found out very quickly. I had read other reviews mentioning loud music but didn’t think much about it. However and much to our disliking, a DJ played at the pool, 6 out of 7 days between 2 and 5pm, “Club” music which for someone of our age when we were trying to rest and relax in the afternoon we found extremely disconcerting and annoying. You can move to the front row of the beach which is reserved for hotel guests but you still can’t avoid the boom boom of the DJ’s music. We spoke at length about our disappointment with the GM and several members of the Customer Experience team who also set up a very good WhatsApp messaging service with guests, and they not only listened but were sympathetic. In fairness recognising that we weren’t the only people complaining, the music volume was turned down a little. Ironically, the music played most days between 11am and 2 pm was often much more mellow and in character as to what we expected from this type of hotel. If you want nothing but quiet and relaxation as you sit at the pool, this is NOT the hotel for you. However, the vibe is certainly a good one and we can see the appeal it would have to younger people. This was only this hotels third season and it will be interesting to see if they adapt to different clientele in the future or vary “the vibe” on certain months such as earlier or later in the season. Finally and to end on a positive, a special shout out to Ignacio, the outstanding and charming GM, Javier, the excellent and very helpful Front Office Manager and Paula who was one of several very good pool team. We loved our time at this very special hotel and if they do vary or turn down ‘the vibe”, we would definitely want to return in the future.

The service is exceptional, especially Elana and the guest experience team. The resort is located on a lovely stretch of beach and the sunbeds are fabulous. A true 5 star luxury stay.
