"Disappointed by small room and lack of sleep due to noisiness of other guests."

The room was clean. Both bathroom and room had recently been renovated ~ bathroom especially was nice. Guest house is in a reasonable location. Whilst check in is from 3pm we did manage to find a member of staff (by chance) and were able to explain that we would be in Edinburgh for the entire day/into the evening and would not be able to ‘check in’ by 10pm. We were helpfully provided with a key but were unable to access our room early . This flexibility was appreciated.

Website states car-parking for six cars but there is no room to manoeuvre and if you are cars 1 and 2 then additional cars will block you in. In our view, sound-proofing of rooms is totally inadequate. We were kept awake by the guests in the room above us ~ who then noisily left the guest house in the early hours. Staff don’t appear to live on site and so there was no-one to complain to at the time (although we did contact the management the next day and did receive an acknowledgment/apology). Lack of sleep was problematic for us because we had a very lengthy drive at the end of our stay.

En general las instalaciones, la habitación tenía un buen tamaño, estaba limpio y muy cómodo. Tenía hervidor, té y café. El lugar es bastante tranquilo y pudimos descansar bien. Además, nos permitieron dejar las maletas antes del horario de check in, lo que nos dio la posibilidad de salir a conocer sin tanta carga, así que lo agradecimos muchísimo!

No único que no me gustó es que estaba muy lejos del centro, pero había una parada de buses al frente.

"Our stay at the Aynetree Guesthouse"

We got a very warm welcome, everything was explained to us, even the bus routes etc... We are staying here again in June, we asked for the same room and they immediately said yes. We would definitely give the Aynetree Guesthouse 5/5.

The room was different from the one that was in the photos. Far from the city center, the landlord was rude when we tried to change it. Far from the city center, there were renovations happening.
