Belle Ville Hotel

The hotel was located in the old part of the city, too quiet so not recommendable for people who want to enjoy the night life. We had issues with pour check-in. We arrived at the property and there was no one to host us. At a certain point, we went to a coffee bar and the owner of the bar called the hotel. We got (via the owner of the bar) the code for the key. Basically it was a self check-in but we were not informed about it and no code was sent to us previously. The room was big and cozy but the check-in stress ruined everything.

Pretty old family hotel. Authentic probably, but very very basic. I doubt I would have slept well. I can't say for sure because I left immediately as I couldn't find the duvet. It was hidden in cupboard and not on the bed. No staff on site past 10pm. They declined to refund the night. They need for information / staff / signage in that case.

The hotel's fast response through the app ensured a hassle-free booking process. Its location in the historic Old Town provided convenient access to notable sights. Despite the absence of staff during the night, the morning personnel were polite and responsive to our needs. Additionally, the pre-heated room and ample hot water added to our comfort, especially during the chilly February evenings. We also noticed the potential charm of the old Plovdiv house and its picturesque garden, which seemed promising for warmer weather.

While the hotel exuded historical charm, it was evident that it could benefit from a comprehensive renovation. We encountered mold in the refrigerator, indicating cleanliness issues that need addressing. Furthermore, accessing the hotel through the Old Town's entrance barriers proved challenging and was not adequately communicated beforehand. Clear instructions regarding parking and entry procedures are essential for future guests. While our stay was satisfactory, a renovation would significantly enhance the hotel's appeal and guest experience.

It was cold at the night, only the AC worked but not the main heat.

Perfect location, very nice and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The house is really beautiful.

The breakfast was excellent

The heating was via air-conditioning which is not as comfortable as the radiators.
