Scarborough Travel and Holiday Lodge

The room was small but clean, the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was cooked fresh and very nice. Staff accommodating ,polite and helpful. Only 10 mins walk from beach. Lovely weekend.

Booked for a one night stay, there was no curtains and blind wouldn't close, when pulled down was clearly broken at the top and no where to attach it to. Wasn't given any towels for showering, could hear people from different rooms. When asked for them to sort the blind or a different room they said they couldn't do anything, when asked for a refund they couldn't do that either. Refused to stay in the room.

Arrived a little early and they told us our room wouldn't be ready until 2 (which is check in time which was fine) however when we came back to check in at 2.30 it wasn't ready and she couldn't get hold of the cleaners. this was a little frustrating after travelling 2 hours to get there and I had a 3 year old. when we got in the room I was happy with the room, it was nice clean and comfy. Bad - shower was really poor, I couldn't shower with it all, I may as well just just a flannel as no pressure to the shower. Also I could hear people in the room next to me which kept banging and the door creaked which I found a little annoying as I had a 3 year old, Great - Room, nice and airey, and comfortable and had facilities

The staff were nice and friendly and the room was alright, the bed was okay, not the comfiest, but you could everything going on in the rooms next door and the people next for to us we're arguing till early hours in the morning and the shower was literally a dribble, I definitely didn't feel cleaning afterwards. Overall just wasn't very impressed.

Very large flat great for kids and large families. Only downside is the floorboards are EXTREMELY creaky

Very poor accommodation. Didn't reflect website images and needs a facelift. Quality and fixtures of the two rooms were disappointing. Extremely small with one smelling of cat wee. No wardrobes. Bathrooms the size of a cupboard with the sinks in room. Would not use either shower. Breakfast terrible but staff friendly. Luckily it was only one night!

Just come back from a 2 night stay Excellent breakfast lots of choice Room was only small but ok for our needs.Comfortable bed and hotel good location for a stroll to town centre Pleasant staff would certainly visit again.

Room was basic and cramped but clean. Beds were comfortable. Could hear people in other rooms getting ready in morning. ?? Thin walls! I usually love Scarborough but appeared very run down and over crowded at this visit. Did mot enjoy as expected. Breakfast was adequate but nothing stunning.

Arrived to a box room and it didnt get much better. The decor was awful and looked cheap, any attempt to upgrade the room clearly hadnt worked. The walls need sound proofing as you could clearly hear everything from tv to toilet trips. Declined the breakfast that was available, so unable to comment. It was real shame as we got spoilt by the weather, so it want all gloom

From my previous experience, I requested a mattress toppers for the bunk beds before going I was told it will be done, however it wasn't, so that wasn't a good experience. Car parking facility was good in the mains, however, it does get busy at times. The rooms were clean and maintained well. The front of the house staff were pleasant. Overall a good experience....
