Hampton Inn & Suites Childress

It looked neat & clean, but never git keys to our paid for room because computers were down all day!!!

The staff, Cassendra, would NOT honor our PREPAID king-bed room for 8/10/25-8/11/25 with a Confirmation number & receipt from Booking because her computers were down all day & she could not give us room keys🥴😠. We had to go to another hotel and pay another hotel and then contact Booking to get a refund for the $149 paid to stay at Hampton 😕. We thought it was very poor management! We are 80 years old and it was 8:30 pm. We will probably never stay at a Hampton Inn again!

This is a dated hotel. It was not very clean, however there were no bugs.

The bed was great. The desk clerk was very helpful and personable. The hotel is not well maintained. It was clean but shabby. The breakfast was ok but basic. The room was pretty small. There was no coffee pot with the coffee maker. We had to get help with the TV. Apparently, the wind sometimes knocks things off, and sometimes guests mess with the controls to set up x-boxes and such.
