Grand Velas Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

This was our second visit to Grand Velas in Riviera Maya. Upon our arrival, we were originally disappointed that we did not get the room that we had the first time we went. Our first concierge, Jose was quick to get this resolved. We wanted to have an unobstructed view of the ocean, as well as piece and quiet. Jose quickly introduced us to our new concierge team, Nora and Francisco. We didn't remember the concierge "team" approach last time. This made it even better, in our opinion. We were only away for 3 nights and 3 days, but they made sure to make it as special as possible. They made a bubble bath filled with balloons for our kids as they were enjoying the foam party so much. The next day they surprised us with champagne Oreos and flowers. I can't even imagine what would have been done for a special occasion. One of the biggest perks in our opinion was that the "teens" club was available to kids of all ages. They do not offer the same kind of structured activities as the "kids" club, but it made it a place they really enjoyed to get out of the sun, and we could join them, play games, and relax outside of our room. The food at the three restaurants we dined was as good as we can remember. Frida probably was the best, followed by Lucca and Sen Lin. The one tip I will provide is to bring your own bbq sauce, as it will make it a completely happy experience for the kids. The pool staff was always willing and ready to help and we did not feel like we were ever looking for more than 5 minutes for a chair. They definitely have increased their poolside activities from water polo, bingo, foam party to trivia. We felt like we had little bursts of entertainment followed by long periods of relaxation. Looking forward to when we can go back next!

This was our second trip to Grand Velas. And it was more incredible than the first. Although our concierge the first time was sweet, I didn’t feel like she went above and beyond or was trying to make my children happy. We had Jeronimo and Nicolas this time and wow, the two of them as a team was beyond amazing. From making my birthday incredibly special by getting balloons and flowers, to planning surprises for my two children, to even helping my husband get his phone fixed that he smashed! I am extremely grateful for them making this trip amazing. For example, we had mentioned early on in our trip that my son loved Bluey, and then a few days later they had Bluey balloons and a fun bubble bath planned for him! Their attention to detail is perfection. I also want to give a shout out to Neimo, Iran, and Miquel at the pool. Their service was always perfect. And they even made my birthday so special. Also the food was top tier! Beyond impressive for an all inclusive. Even better than the first time. And Miriam the babysitter was wonderful with my children. She’s the sweetest and most caring woman.

This hotel was amazing. It was clean, well attended, and the food was amazing. We had the best concierges with Braulio and Alfonso who helped with everything that we asked and needed to make our stay extraordinary!

The personal concierge service from Jerónimo and Nico was top notch. They took care of us beyond our expectations. My family loved everything, we will be requesting these two on our next visit . Can’t wait to be back again

Grand class at Rivera maya was amazing! The entire property was beautiful, the food was delicious and the amenities were amazing. The gated property and high security made the entire stay feel extremely secure. The rooms are world class and the staff particularly Alfonso and Broulio were very communicative and attentive . I was a solo traveler on a family vacation and felt very safe and had an amazing time either way. Everything is included for the most part in the price of your stay, except for some things that cost extra and tipping. The resort is extremely well kept and turn down service comes multiple times a day. It’s very quiet considering what goes on at the resort with resort events, families and weddings. The resort is world class and extremely clean and I was never worried about eating anything or drinking anything and they where very attentive to my food allergy. The shuttle to different parts of the resorts was timely and getting to the beach to the jungle was easy.

We had a wonderful family trip to Mexico, and Braulio and Alfonso, our personal concierges, truly made it exceptional. This dynamic duo helped get us settled into our room early, answered all of our questions, and consistently went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. We were unbelievably lucky to have them as our personal concierge. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help make our trip so smooth and unforgettable. Thank you, Braulio and Alfonso, for everything!

Their professionalism and genuine warmth made us feel like royalty. We made it our mission to try every single restaurant on-site, and we were blown away every time. Each meal was a journey—from the presentation to the incredible flavors, it felt like dining at a Michelin-starred establishment every night. The spa is a sanctuary. We spent a significant amount of time here, and it was easily the most rejuvenating experience of our lives. The facilities are immaculate, the treatments are expertly delivered, and the atmosphere of peace is all-encompassing. It is an absolute "must-do" for anyone staying here. The pool areas are stunning—crystal clear, perfectly temperature-controlled, and accompanied by flawless poolside service. For those looking for a bit more action, the water sports team was fantastic. Everything was well-organized, safe, and incredibly fun. Final Verdict The grounds are pristine, the suites are breathtaking, and the level of care is unparalleled. Absolutely nothing was missing, and not a single detail was overlooked. To the management and the entire team: thank you for a flawless stay. We are already counting down the days until we can return to see Alfonso and Braulio again!
