Comfort Suites French Lick

Excellent! Great accommodations, clean and just what we needed!

Had no cleaning service all weekend, had to take our own trash out to the dumpster. No maintenance, no service for rooms when you at least need trash bags changed, more towels, new linens nothing available until Monday. Our refrigerator did not work.

Clean, staff very nice

The property was disappointing. We have stayed there many times, but this time may have been the last. Just a few examples of issues: the fridge(which we needed) was broken and the only person in the hotel could not figure out what to do; we had to change rooms, but no one could open the door to that one—seems like a major safety hazard; third room had horrible beds and a very loud AC unit, but we stayed that night in it as it was so late; changed to fourth room the next day and it was dirty, but instead of changing again I vacuumed the floor myself because there was no one to do it. AND I have never been in a hotel that did not have a lamp on the desk— one place you would certainly need it— but none of the rooms had desk lamps or sufficient lighting.

I used Expedia to book this room. I selected this property because it listed a jacuzzi at the Comfort Inn. I planned a day away for myself and significant other to enjoy a jacuzzi. Well guess what upon arrival I was told by the desk clerk that the jacuzzi had not been operable for many months. I was immediately pissed off with both Expedia and Comfort Suites. I expect the amenities listed by the hotel chain as well as Expedia to be current and up to date. The clerk mentioned that the rooms had a hot tub. I told her that I could settle for the Hot Tub being that their Jacuzzi did not exist. then when she explained to me that not my room, but other rooms had a hot tub and that it would cost me an additional $50 it simply added to my being pissed off. Of course Expedia and Comfort had a no refund attached to my booking. I was going to cancel the room and find another but did not have that option. I will "NEVER" use EXPEDIA'S booking service again nor will I ever consider obtain in g a room from the COMFORT chain of motels. This situation ruined the special time, away from home, that I planned for myself and my loved one. EXPEDIA Thank You for NOTHING.

The property was good for the price. Not far from town, but still had to drive. Staff was friendly, but didn't seem to know how to do things, like checkin, prices on items in service area. The service area for snacks had almost nothing available and what they did have was way over priced.

Comfortable beds clean stuff was great

Hard to find hot tubs at hotels—-one of THE MAIN reasons I chose this one. Not only was it not working, it was covered up like it’s being removed. The rest of the hotel was fine, good breakfast, comfortable rooms. But very disappointed with the hot tub.
