Hacienda Santa Cruz

My husband and I stayed two nights at this beautiful hacienda. We appreciated the friendly and courteous service we received from Ricardo at reception. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. The well-maintained grounds are stunning with tropical plants, many walking or biking paths (bikes are supplied for free), two heated pools and a man-made cenote. But it's during the evening that it becomes magical with beautiful lighting throughout the property. Tenía la idea de que por ser bonito el hotel también iba a tener un servicio excelente, lamentablemente no fue así. Las personas en recepción no fueron amables, y el restaurante fue muy lento a parte de que como tenían un grupo nos pidieron cambiar varias veces de mesa.

No había Valet Parking

Perfect atmosphere, prettiest settings close to Merida, cenotes, Uxmal and Mayapan ancient mayan sites and service. Delicious food.

Very disappointed with the lack of quality and very high prices for the food. Really beautiful place but the food is just below average. Pork was dry, servings tiny and prices very high. Love the atmosphere but won’t go back to eat.

Nos trataron de maravilla y el servicio muy bueno, el desayuno incluida pan caliente, café fresco y jugo de naranja recién exprimido, el mejor platillo a mi gusto fue la sopa de lima.

Lovely hacienda with extensive hotel grounds, there are several pools and staff on hand to help with anything you need, the grounds are very quiet and somewhat dark at night. They do have a 10pm curfew or they close the front gates but you can call and request it stay open.

Los jardines muy cuidados y tienen un cenote artificial padrísimo

Clean and not what was expected for the area. The front desk lady was judgmental and rude and the onsite restaurant workers had better things to do than attend me in a reasonable time, I ended up walking out.
