Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel

Terrible dinner service people arguing between themselves no one taking plates away even though they are standing behind me breakfast service is absolutely fantastic seems to be something wrong with dinner service every one seems miserable

We’re at the Gloria palace now & me and my husband have both suffered very bad stomach upsets since day 3 can’t eat or drink & now on day 5 so it’s been a waste of money . Anyone coming here be careful what you eat on the cooked meats as I don’t think they are cooked long enough especially the chicken . Otherwise lovely hotel but won’t be coming back sadly

Excellent location and bedroom sizes are very generous.

Parts of the hotel are starting to age. There has been some updating of the bedroom decor but more needs to be done. Even simple things like broken delph at breakfast would be easy to fix. I have been several times and we noticed a decline this year.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. The facilities were excellent, and everything you could possibly need was available, making the whole experience comfortable and relaxing. One of the highlights for me was the evening music and the variety of activities offered throughout the day. There was always something fun to do, which created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. I would especially like to thank the animation team for their incredible effort. They truly made a difference to the overall experience. A special mention goes to Kamil from the animation team, who went above and beyond to ensure that all guests had a great time. His energy and dedication did not go unnoticed. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I would definitely come back again

We initially had a very positive impression of the hotel, especially the room with a private pool, which we were very happy with. Unfortunately, an incident during our stay completely changed our overall experience and left us with a negative impression. In the middle of the night, while we were asleep, a man suddenly entered our room without any warning. He turned on the ceiling light and started speaking in Spanish before leaving shortly after. This was extremely frightening, as we were not expecting anyone and felt completely unsafe in what should have been a secure, private space. When I immediately contacted reception, I was told that a neighboring room had complained about noise from our door, and that it was supposedly security who had entered. However, I tried to explain that someone had come into our room unannounced while we were asleep — something that should never happen under any circumstances. Unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed, and I did not feel taken seriously at all. I also asked for an apology, but none was given. Instead, I was met with resistance when trying to explain the situation, and the interaction became so uncomfortable that I was even threatened with the police when I expressed my frustration. I understand that staff may need to respond to complaints, but entering a guest’s room without warning in the middle of the night is completely unacceptable. The lack of empathy and professionalism from the reception only made the situation worse. Overall, this experience left us feeling unsafe and very disappointed. I sincerely hope the hotel reviews its procedures to ensure that something like this does not happen to other guests. ⸻

Weather!!! but staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable 10 out of 10

We have stayed may times and always found the staff to be excellent, food good rooms comfortable and the whole resort well managed.

We had yet again a fantastic stay at Gloria Palace Amadores! The reception staff greeted us and arranged the perfect room and we were happily surprised over the feeling of it being spacious and luxurious. The complimentary cava bottle and fruit was lovely. We enjoyed the breathtaking views and swimming in the warm pools. We have tried all inclusive before and we’re now on full board. The restaurant staff was very attentive both to us and there is never a feeling if something missing or needing refill. The buffet was very fresh and clean with a large variety of cold and hot plates, fresh fruit, delicious local cheeses and desserts. Maybe the gluten free options could be presented together with the ordinary buffet with a sign. Going to bed you already think about the next mornings breakfast buffet! Great to be able to go out directly to the promenade along the sea for a stroll or morning run. We also like that the hotel area is so large that you always find a new little spot where you can enjoy the view or sun. It was a short stay but we already look forward to the next time and then we will try the Thalasso too. Hope to be back soon!

The location, room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was lovely. Staff very friendly. Very good to parking

At check-in, guests should be informed about the dinner prices and how the dining options work, especially if there is an all-inclusive option available. I later found out that the all-inclusive price was cheaper than paying for meals separately, so it would have been helpful to know this information earlier in order to make a better decision. Additionally, there were dead cockroaches around the swimming pool area. It would be good if staff could regularly check and clean this area. I am very afraid of cockroaches, so seeing them made me feel uncomfortable and worried during my stay.
