We took a last minute trip to stay near Glenwood Springs. This was one of the cheapest places to stay with good reviews. The young man at reception was very nice and helpful. There was a mixup with our room but he fixed it. Our key cards didn’t work but he fixed those right away. Then we discovered our cable didn’t work on the TV so he fixed that. We chose this hotel because it had a kitchenette and a microwave was pictured online. It did not have a microwave, nor was it stocked very well. There was 1 spoon in the utensil drawer. Fortunately we brought our own and decided to eat sandwiches rather than heating anything up. The bathroom could have been cleaner. There were some hairs on the shower head. There were also some gross splatters on the wall near the toilet. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the sheets were kinda pilly. Overall, the good service and the price made some annoying issues tolerable. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again, though.

This property is very run down. It needs a face lift. The room has a kitchenette, but no spoons, forks, paper towels. It has a coffee maker, but no coffee or sweetener. Dirty dishes still in the dishwasher. It has an elevator, but the state inspection has expired and there is a sign stating no more than 2 people at a time on the elevator. It would be a 2 star property in most locations; but apparently is better than most other hotels in town. The hotel sends texts asking if we need anything; but a reply requesting spoons and such go unanswered. The manager, Alexander, sent an email asking us to reach out to him personally if our expectations aren't met; but his phone just rings and rings without answering or going to voicemail. Worthless lip service without any follow up!

Hi, I had booked a double bed suite 2 weeks back for a price in expedia. When i checked in around 8 pm they increased the room price and said we dont know about Expedia this is the rate we are offering today. after a very long drive with my family, the lady gave me a room key and when we entered we found there is only a single bed, they never picked the calls to front desk. I went to the front desk and enquired the lady said the 2 beds room was not available she would give me another single room in another floor or else she would refund me the money and asked me to search elsewhere at 10pm in that small town. More over the price was increased and when I asked she said we are giving you an extra room as if though she is doing a favor. When I asked Manager number and spoke to him it took nearly 15 mins to convince him that I am not asking any discount but just to honor the price which I had booked 2 weeks back. He said he will reimburse the extra amount the lady had charged, its been a week I have not received any amount so far. The pots and vessels were dirty and the stove top was very old and rusty. I would not recommend this to anyone.
