The Maemar Hotel

This property was in a good location for a night out with my friends. Probably would stay again as it was cheaper to do this than pay for a taxi back home.

You have to pay a deposit upon arrival which is fine but you would expect the rooms to be tidy and not things hanging off the walls. One of our group got bed bugs after our stay here unfortunately. And even found a bug in her bed when we woke up in the morning.

Didn't like anything about the hotel

Lift out of order so had to walk up 3 flights of stairs Central heating in our room didn't work Divan bed base had a massive rip on one side Couldn't open window properly in room Dirty curtain in room , had white marks all done the side! No blind in bathroom No hand towels A couple of dead fly's on window seal in bathroom Shower : The hot water only run for about 20 seconds so had a Luke warm shower Shaving /light switch didn't work Duck tape around the bottom of wordrobe Nobody on reception in the evening have to call a mobile number if needed Would not recommend this hotel!!

Very bad hotel

The beds are so comfortable I struggled to get up in the morning!

Window broken in room Staff aggressive, and that was the manager WiFi not working kept dropping I was on second floor -could not sleep-floorboards creeking upstairs.

Over all worst Christmas, really unfriendly Manager. Would never comeback or recommend to anyone.
